Hello, everyone!
Here we are, in spooky month! As those of you who have been around for a while know, I love me some Halloween, so you can definitely expect some of that content coming up soon. At least a couple short stories, and the last CYOA finished up right on time for me to start a Halloween-themed one just for this month!
I'm going to be trying to do a chapter of that up every Sunday (until the 23rd, anyway, but we'll see about the 30th) but I'm actually going to be on vacation for a bit this month. I have content set up to post while I'm away, and I should be able to get the chapter for that week finished before I leave, but the one for the week after might end up being a day or two late, which might throw the rest of the schedule off a bit.
That also might affect the Community Story poll, just in the sense that it may not go up on the 11th, since that will be during my vacation. I'll try to get it done, but if not, it will go up as soon as I'm able, and will be sure there's enough time for voting (for those at the $5 and up tiers), and for me to actually get the winning story written, of course. Speaking of which, if you have any ideas for this month's Community Story, feel free to put them here, in reply to this post!
I also have a bit of an announcement about billing, which shouldn't apply to most of you, but for the sake of transparency, I'll go ahead and let you all know. Patreon recently gave me the option to switch the way billing works for new Patrons, and I took it. If you're already subscribed, everything is going to remain exactly the same, with you being billed at the start of the month, but for new Patrons, your new billing date is a month from whenever you first sign up, so there's no more penalty for signing up towards the end of the month, and then getting charged immediately again at the start of the next month. Not sure why that hasn't been an option before now, but it finally is, so whenever you join from now on, you'll be sure to get a full month out of your subscription.
