"Oh, my God, Liv!" Jessa rolled her eyes as she walked into their apartment, hardly able to believe her eyes.
"What?" her roommate giggled, trying to pretend she didn't have any idea what the other girl was talking about, and failing utterly. "Don't you like it?" she tried instead, bouncing in place.
Jessa sighed, shaking her head. "It's fine," she said, "I like Halloween as much as anyone else, but... you know this is way too early, right?"
"Nuh-uh!" Liv crossed her arms defiantly. "Stores are putting out their decorations, so that means we can, too! It's spooky season!"
"I don't think that's how it works," Jessa told her. "They had their stuff out like a month ago."
"See?" Liv insisted. "That means I was super patient, waiting until now!"
"That is definitely not true," Jessa raised an eyebrow. If there was one thing she could say about her roomie, it was that... She was one of the least patient people Jessa knew, in fact. "Listen, they're nice and all, but... Can they just wait a couple more weeks?"
"A couple weeks?" Liv whined, stomping her foot. "Then I'll barely have time to enjoy them!"
Was she being serious? "Liv," Jessa stared her in the eye firmly, the shorter girl falling silent, squirming in place, knowing she was being called out for her behavior, the scolding bringing a slight tinge of pink to her cheeks. "It's barely September! If you wait a month, you'll still have a full month! I'm sorry, but I don't want my apartment looking like a Spirit Halloween when summer hasn't even officially ended yet!"
Liv pouted, starting to sulk already. "It isn't only your apartment, you know. I pay half the rent, too!" Jessa would have loved to point out that Liv paid her rent with money her parents gave her, whereas Jessa paid hers with a job, though, to be fair, they both still got the money, so it didn't matter that much, in the long run.
"Yes, I know," Jessa took a deep breath. "You can decorate your bedroom however you want... Can we just leave the Halloween stuff out of the living room for now?" Liv didn't look happy about it, but she nodded, starting to pick up some of the decorations she'd put on their bookshelf. "Thank you," Jessa said, resisting the urge to pat her on the head as she brushed past to the kitchen. It really did feel, sometimes, like she was dealing with a little sister sometimes, rather than a roommate...
That feeling was only amplified when she returned to the living room an hour or two later, and found that Liv had not only not done as she'd said, she'd actually added more Halloween knickknacks to the shelves, and was napping on the couch. It was probably Jessa's imagination, but she was pretty certain she saw a smug look on the girl's face, as if she thought she'd outsmarted Jessa and won.
"We'll see about that, young lady," Jessa huffed. She knew exactly what this brat needed... And she was more than happy to give it to her.

Liv woke up feeling quite proud of herself, her eyes blinking open on the pride of her decorating. She collected so much cute, spooky stuff over the year - whenever she saw something, she couldn't help buying it, no matter how far off Halloween was - that she couldn't help being eager to show it off when Halloween was getting close.
Only... Something was different, wasn't it? She frowned, reaching up to rub her eyes. Something felt different when she did that, too, though she was still sleepy enough for that not to sink in, even as she sat up, trying to decide what had changed on the shelves, a slight crinkling noise accompanying the movement. Had Jessa taken something down?
It didn't seem like it... If she had, it must have been something small, and at that point, why would she bother? She'd left the huge, ceramic jack o' lantern, the black cat candy bowl, the old, plastic trick or treat bucket... Those were the biggest pieces, the ones that took up the most space... They'd make the most sense to have gotten on the girl's nerves.
Actually, now that she took a second look, waking up a bit more, she realized it was more like something had been added, rather than taken away. Had Jessa gotten into the Halloween spirit? Had she come around to see Liv's point of view? Liv giggled to herself happily, glad that, once again, she'd gotten her way...
And then, finally, she saw it. It was so obvious, she couldn't believe she hadn't spotted it before, blaming it on her bleary eyes, fresh from a nap, or on not wanting to accept it. There was no way it was what she thought it was, although, even folded up as they were, even though they were different from any she'd seen before, far bigger and thicker, she had little trouble recognizing them instantly. She gasped, a funny feeling welling up inside her tummy.
When she glanced down at it, she was met with another surprise, one that was even larger. "H-Hey!" she squeaked. She was no longer wearing the shorts and t-shirt she'd spent the day in... She was now in what was clearly a onesie, complete with snaps on the crotch to make for easier diaper changes... And, in fact, she was wearing a diaper underneath, to her horror.
"What?" she frowned, poking at it tentatively, as if it was going to come alive and try to grab her hand if she got too close. It was so bulky between her legs, and so loud, rustling with her every move... She was shocked she hadn't noticed it sooner, though why would she ever think that might have happened to her? Why would it have happened to her?! There was only one explanation for it.
"Jessa!" she roared, sitting down and crossing her arms, waiting for her roommate to appear. It didn't take long, Jessa sauntering in, already giggling before she even saw Liv, proving that she knew exactly what was going on. "What the heck is this?!" she demanded, blushing slightly more as she heard herself speak, having intended to say something quite a lot harsher. She wasn't sure why she hadn't; was it this outfit, making it feel inappropriate to use anything that even approached being an actual swear word?
"What's wrong?" Jessa asked, strutting over. "It's covered in bats, and ghosties, and candy... It's perfect for spooky season, don't you think?"
Liv hadn't even processed that, had been too busy worrying about being in a onesie at all to care what was on it. Now that Jessa mentioned it, however, she had to admit that it was pretty adorable. "W-Well, yeah," she said. "B-But it's for babies! I'm not a baby!"
"Oh, you aren't, huh?" Jessa raised an eyebrow. "That's funny, because you can't seem to control yourself at all. As soon as you have an idea, you have to do it, no matter how it might affect the people around you... Even when they tell you that they'd rather you not do it."
"It's just a few decorations," Liv pouted. "They're not that big of a deal..."
"I asked you to take them down, Liv," Jessa glared at her, Liv wriggling in place, her outfit making her feel even smaller in comparison to the other girl. "You told me you would, and you didn't..."
"B-But..." Liv sniffed.
"No, maybe it isn't that big of a deal," Jessa admitted. "This is hardly the first time you've done something like this, though... Which makes it very clear to me that you're just a spoiled little brat who does, indeed, belong in those diapers."
"No, I don't!" Liv whined. "I don't need diapers! I'm not a baby!"
"Then prove it," Jessa ordered. "Do what you said you would do in the first place, and I'll let you have your big girl clothes back. Otherwise, I'm keeping you in those until Halloween, young lady."
How dare Jessa speak to her that way?! They were the same age! In fact, Liv was a couple months older than Jessa, so, if anything, she should be the one in charge here, the one getting to call her 'young lady.' But, in her current state of dress, it was hard to muster up the courage to point that out, or to try to shove past her into the hallway to go get a change of clothes, and a pair of real underwear, for herself. All she could really do was squirm on the couch, feeling like a naughty little girl, and mumble, "Yes ma'am."
"Well?" Jessa folded her arms. "Get to work." Liv glowered at her, but hopping down off the sofa, walked over to the shelf, blushing harder as she realized, thanks to the bulk of the diaper, the movement could be described now as more of a toddle. She picked up the candy bowl, and Jessa, satisfied, walked away...
Leaving Liv all alone. She looked down into the bowl, which she'd already filled up, unable to help herself. She'd spent so long getting everything ready this morning, and it would take a while to take it down... It wouldn't hurt to have a little treat to keep her energy up, would it?
It wasn't her fault that all the good candy was at the bottom of the bowl... Or, rather it was, since she'd put it there, so that she'd get to it last, but it wasn't her fault that she wanted it now, to cheer herself up. She tried digging through it, then, after a moment or two, she impatiently dumped the bowl out, scattering candy all over the floor around her so that she could find her favorites, flopping down on her tummy to search through it easier.
"Stupid Jessa," she grumbled, unwrapping a piece and popping it into her mouth, tossing the wrapper aside. She was just going to be putting this stuff back up in a couple more weeks! Why was she making such a big deal about this?! She was so mean! Liv didn't even know why she bothered living with her, other than the fact that none of her other friends had said yes when she'd asked.
She opened up another piece of candy, angrily eating it, too. She hadn't expected this to last her until Halloween - she'd planned to get more at least once, if not twice, before then - but now she was tempted to eat it all now. What was Jessa going to do? She wanted her to get rid of all the Halloween stuff, after all? What better way to do it?
Vindictively, Liv laid in the middle of the living room floor, surrounded by candy and empty wrappers, just waiting for Jessa to show up and get mad at her so that she could throw her roomie's own orders back in her face, only slowing down once her tummy began to hurt. It was from the candy, of course, nothing more... It wasn't too bad yet, not enough to make her want to stop, and give up on her plan.
Not until a few minutes later, when she realized that she was wrong. It wasn't just her stomach that was getting full... "Oh, no," her eyes widened, her cheeks turning bright red. She tried to get to her feet, to make a mad dash for the bathroom, but got as far as her knees before she felt herself start to push...
"No!" she squealed, a hand reaching behind herself, unable to believe it, even as she felt a squishy lump forming in the seat of her diaper. "No, stop it!" She tore open the snaps on her onesie, fingers running over the smooth plastic of her diaper, her head spinning as she felt the warmth of what was forming there, making it seem all the more real. She heard a grunt escape her lips, the lump growing quickly, despite her attempts to clench her muscles, or her hand instinctively clamping down on the seat of her pants, trying to hold it in, and, instead, only squishing it around.
She was pooping her pants... Or, no, that wasn't right, was it? She was filling her diaper, helplessly, just like a little baby... She whimpered, the mushy mass refusing to halt, or slow, expanding the padding around her, squelching between her thighs...
"What's going on here, Livvy?" Jessa asked from behind her. Liv squeaked and spun around, not wanting her roomie to see, plopping down onto her bottom without thinking, squashing the mess beneath her, making her feel even messier, and more humiliated, as she tugged down the front of her onesie in an attempt to hide her ever-growing padding.
"N-Nothing!" she claimed.
"Oh, really?" Jessa knelt down. "Because it looks like, instead of doing as you were told, you couldn't help yourself, yet again... You wanted some candy, and you just couldn't control yourself... And now, you can't control yourself in another way, can you?" Liv blushed, hanging her head, unable to look Jessa in the eye, as it sank in that the girl already knew exactly what she'd done to herself. "Aww, don't be sad, sweetie... You'll get your potty training back... In November."
Liv's eyes widened. "Wh-What?! N-No, I am potty trained! Th-This was just an accident, I..!"
"You were potty trained," Jessa corrected. "But then you ate all that candy that I cursed as a little test, and now, you're going to be spending your spooky season in diapers."
"W-Wait," Liv frowned. "C-Cursed?"
"That's right, Livvy," Jessa smirked, reaching forward to start snapping Liv's onesie back up over her dirty diaper. "I told you, I love Halloween as much as anyone else... More, probably, since I'm a witch and all. But even I know better than to start celebrating this early. Maybe, after this, you will, too... Though, I kind of doubt it. Now, I suggest you get busy taking down these decorations, like you promised you would, or I'm going to regress you back into a two year old, and you can spend the next couple months in daycare." Liv gulped, blushing as Jessa helped her up, and gave her a pat on the seat of her full diaper to send her towards the shelves. "You can meet me at your changing table when you're finished for a clean diaper."
"M-My... changing table?" Liv blinked. In fact, as she discovered when she started taking stuff back to her room, everything had changed, her grown-up furniture replaced with things more fitting for a nursery. She shivered, feeling a trickle of warmth spreading through the mess in her diaper; she was going to be having quite the memorable Halloween, she realized, spending it with a witch... She just had to hope the spookiness really did come to an end afterwards, and she didn't give Jessa any reason to keep it going beyond that, because she suspected that, now that her secret was out, the girl would be more than happy to do so, at the slightest provocation...
