It was a very close vote this time around, but this was the winner of the Community Story poll for the month, by only one vote! Don't feel too bad for the runner-up, though... I've had an anonymous Patron who has commissioned it, so it will be showing up before the end of the month as well.

"It's not that big of a deal, Ellie," Isabel assured her. "I know you don't really need me there, but mom asked, so..."

"So tell her that!" Ellie stomped her foot, arms folded. It was hard, sometimes, to remember that she wasn't that far off from graduating and joining Isabel in college... Isabel supposed that was true for any big sister looking at her younger siblings, but with Ellie, specifically, it certainly didn't feel like she had grown up much at all. To be honest, she could understand why her parents hadn't wanted her to have a slumber party unsupervised...

"I already said I'd do it," Isabel shrugged. "I'm not going to go back on my promise now. But don't worry, I'll stay out of the way..." She could see that Ellie was still upset, and she knew she should stay quiet, leave it at that... She couldn't help herself, though. "You know, I'd think you'd be excited; you used to beg me to let you come to my sleepovers."

Ellie blushed, squirming in place. "Th-That was a long time ago!" she whined, storming off. It had been true, once... Isabel probably should have been better about letting her join, too. It had been cute, seeing how badly she'd wanted to spend time with the big girls, to prove she was just as mature as them, yet, at the time, all Isabel had wanted to do was hang out with her friends without having to babysit.

She probably shouldn't think of what she was doing tonight as that - Ellie would hate it if she knew that was what was going through her mind - but it was hard to view it any other way, especially after her sister's friends started showing up. They were all so goofy, so immature... She definitely hadn't been this way a few short years ago, when she was their age!

She perched on the couch, watching them, starting out by trying to get some homework done, only to quickly give up on that. "Come on, girls," she announced. "Keep it down, all right? The neighbors are going to hear if you keep being this loud."

"Who cares?" Ellie rolled her eyes.

"I do," Isabel gave her a stern look. Ellie might be taller than her, but there was no question of who was the older; Ellie wilted, blushing. "If the neighbors file a noise complaint, mom and dad are going to hear about it, and..."

"Okay!" Ellie huffed. "I get the picture!" She looked down at the floor, clearly trying to decide between asserting her independence in front of her friends by coming up with a witty response, and just doing as she was told to avoid any more reprimands. "It's not like they've ever said anything at any of our other sleepovers," she mumbled after a few moments.

Isabel let out a dramatic sigh, setting her laptop aside. "And does that mean they never will?" she asked. "Are you talking at exactly the same volume you were then? Maybe they all had long days, and this is the last straw, and..."

"Okay, okay!" Ellie glared at her. "I said okay! Jeez!"

Isabel didn't trust that, however, picking up a magazine instead, half glancing at it while she watched the younger girls over the top of it as their conversation started out more quiet, then, in a matter of moments, escalated back up to a fever pitch once more. "Seriously," she interjected. "If you can't contain yourselves, I'm going to have to send you all home."

"Isabel!" Ellie squealed. "You can't do that!"

"I'm in charge, aren't I?" Isabel raised an eyebrow, staring her sister down until the girl was forced to nod, to admit it in front of her friends. "So, whatever I say goes. Besides, if you can't control yourselves when it comes to this, I have to wonder in what other ways you can't..." Ellie's eyes widened slightly, her head shaking.

"What is that supposed to mean?" one of Ellie's friends, Kalista, asked.

Isabel should have left it at that, stayed silent, but she couldn't resist. "Well, I'd hate to have to send you all to bed in 'protection,' just in case," she gave her sister a meaningful look. "I bet we probably still have some around..."

That was subtle enough, she thought. She hadn't come right out and said that Ellie had wet the bed, much less how recently it had happened... And, even if she had, surely her friends would have already known. They'd been to other sleepovers with her!

"Wait, are you saying...?" another of the girls, Nina, giggled.

Isabel hadn't named names - she could have been talking about herself, for all they knew! - but Ellie guaranteed that everyone knew anyway. It was another demonstration of her immaturity, Isabel noted, trying to take the blame off herself... She just couldn't keep her mouth shut, even when it would have benefited her. "Not for a long time!" she spluttered. "E-Everyone did it at one time!"

"I don't think I ever wet the bed," Kalista smirked. "Definitely not enough to still have diapers on hand!"

Isabel could see Ellie's face growing more and more red and decided to jump in. "Don't be mean to her," she ordered. "She couldn't help it... It was a long time ago." Her sister looked up at her, grateful for the assistance... But Isabel couldn't help herself. "At least a couple weeks now, right, El?"

"Th-That's not true!" Ellie squeaked, as her friends laughed even harder. "I-I didn't... I-I don't... Shut up!"

She ran off to her room, tears shining in her eyes, her friends falling silent, looking at one another before shuffling after her. Maybe, Isabel admitted to herself, she'd gone too far... Ellie probably didn't want to see her right now, however, so she went studiously back to her homework, setting the magazine beside her on the sofa, until the girls were able to coax Ellie back to the living room.

She put her laptop down again after a moment, letting them get settled. "Listen, Ellie," she started. "I..."

And then she saw what they were up to. She had no idea where the fancy pocket watch had come from, which of them had brought it, but it seemed very nice, probably pretty expensive... As the one in charge, she ought to tell them not to dangle it up in the air like that, and risk having it fall and break... That would be the responsible thing to do...

However, she instead found her eyes drawn to it as it swung slowly back and forth, back and forth, her expression going blank, along with her mind...

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

"Oh, my God," Nina whispered, not daring to speak too loudly, for fear of breaking the spell. "Did it actually work?"

"Of course it did," Kalista rolled her eyes. "Look at her!"

Sure enough, Isabel was sitting there, staring straight ahead at the pocket watch, totally still, in a way that was almost scary to witness. Even a minute or two earlier, when they'd first arrived, and she was attempting to be inconspicuous, there had been some movement, some sign of life... Now, she might as well have been a statue.

A bolt of excitement, and shock, ran through the group, though none of them dared to take the next step, to do anything more, until Ellie stood up. "Well, there's no point in doing this if we aren't going to have some fun with it, now is there? She was right, we do still have some of my old bedwetting stuff." She shifted in place slightly as she said it, having a hard time believing she was admitting it out loud... But they all knew already, thanks to Isabel, and they'd all told her, in her room, that they were sorry for making her feel uncomfortable about it.

Why not have some fun with it? She'd told her friends she didn't know what she had in mind with this, that she didn't even know if it was going to do anything, but, to be honest, this was exactly what she'd had in mind, from the moment she'd shown them the pocket watch...

"Wait here," she ordered Isabel, giggling to herself. As if her sister had any choice in the matter now... She hurried off, returning with a pair of Goodnites, setting them down on the sofa beside the older girl. "Now, be a good girl and put those on," she instructed. "And listen very carefully to what I say while you do... We need to have a little talk..."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Isabel blinked, confused for a moment about what was going on. It wasn't that late... How could she have nodded off like that? She felt disoriented, confused, as she squirmed on the sofa, blushing as she looked over at the other girls, feeling her Goodnites rustle under her shorts. She really wished she hadn't had to wear those tonight, of all nights, but... Well, it was better safe than sorry, wasn't it?

"Here it is!" Isabel declared, holding up a small key in triumph, the other girls cheering. "I knew he kept it somewhere around here!"

"Whoa!" Isabel hopped off the couch quickly, hurrying over to her side, seeing right away that her sister had the key to the liquor cabinet. "No! You can't have that!"

"Says who, pipsqueak?" Kalista grinned, glaring down at Isabel.

Isabel felt something shift in her tummy as she looked the taller girl - they were all taller than her, weren't they? - in the eye. "Mommy... M-Mom..." she blushed, immediately getting off on the wrong foot, squirming as the girls laughed at her mistake, "said I was in charge, and..."

"And you're going to be a little narc?" Ellie raised an eyebrow.

Isabel looked at the others uncomfortably, torn. She did remember her mother telling her that, and promising she'd do her best to keep her sister and her friends out of trouble, but... It was so exciting, being here, getting to hang out with them! She didn't want them to think she was some little dork, did she? It was bad enough, being around them in Goodnites... "I-I just don't think..."

"Here," Ellie chuckled, tossing the key to Nina. "Go see what he has. I'll talk some sense into her."

"No!" Isabel whined, stomping her foot, frustrated that nobody was listening to her. "You're not supposed to..."

She froze, feeling an all too familiar warmth growing in her pants as, to her horror, she started to wet herself helplessly, while the girls ignored her completely, heading over to the cabinet.

"Sweetie," Ellie knelt down a little, brushing the hair out of Isabel's face as her sister squirmed frantically, trying to stop the flow of urine rushing into her Goodnites, "you know you aren't really in charge, right?"

"Y-Yes, I am!" Isabel insisted. "Mommy said so!" She didn't even try to correct herself that time... It was just Ellie here now, after all. And what else would someone in the midst of peeing her pants call her mother?

"That was a joke, silly," Ellie shook her head. "How could you be in charge? You're the littlest... And you're the only one who can't keep her pants dry."

"Y-Yes, I can!" Isabel pouted, shifting her weight nervously, hoping Ellie didn't know what she was in the midst of doing at that very moment.

Ellie raised an eyebrow. "Sure," she said, skeptically. "Either way, though, Izzy... I really think you ought to change your clothes."

"Why?" Isabel whined. "I like this outfit!" It made her feel so grown-up, so much like the big girls! They were all wearing shorts, too, and some of them had shirts that ended even higher than hers, though just having her belly button exposed felt so naughty, so mature...

"Sweetie," Ellie sighed, "your Goodnites are peeking out." She pointed at Isabel's waist, and Isabel nearly fainted when she glanced down and saw that she was right.

"The whole time?!" she squealed, tugging uselessly at her shirt, wishing now that it was just a little longer. "D-Do you think they noticed?"

"I'm not sure," Ellie shrugged, "but it might be a good idea if you put something else on, don't you think? And I bet you're ready for a change, anyway." Isabel started to shake her head, only for Ellie to reach out and give her Goodnites a pat, confirming her suspicions. "Maybe you should go ahead and get into your bedtime protection..."

"It's so early!" Isabel sniffed.

Ellie wasn't moved by her protests, asking, instead, "Do you need any help?"

"No," Isabel sulked. "I can do it." She shuffled off to her room, where, of course, her full-blown diapers were waiting in a bag by her bed. It was so humiliating... She didn't want to wear them around her sister's friends, and Mommy had said she was in charge, so she didn't have to... But, at the same time, Ellie might have a point. Her Goodnites were pretty soaked, and she didn't want to leak...

She put on a different, longer shirt and a skirt over her diaper, staring at herself in the mirror for a while before being convinced that nobody would see the padding underneath. It wasn't until she returned to the living room that she remembered what she'd been trying to prevent.

"Hey, stop it!" she insisted, waddling over to the nearest girl, trying to grab their cup away, pouting as they easily lifted it out of her reach. "You're not s'posed to have that!"

"From what I've heard," the girl teased, "you're the one who isn't supposed to have liquids at night... And even that still doesn't work all the time, does it?"

"Th-That's not true!" Isabel huffed... But, already, she could feel a squishiness in her fresh diaper, making her wonder if Ellie was right after all, if she was just incapable of keeping her pants dry...

"It's all right," Ellie appeared, as if thinking of her had summoned her. "Look, I made a special place for you over here..." She led Isabel away from the girls gathered around the booze, back towards the sofa, which now had a blanket folded over the cushions. "Just in case," she winked.

"I-I don't need that!" Isabel blushed, wondering what Ellie had told her friends about why she was doing it. "A-And I can't stay over here, I need to..."

"You need to do your homework, remember?" Ellie handed her the laptop. "You can go back to pretending to be in charge when you're finished."

"I'm not pretending!" Isabel whined. "Mommy said..."

"And Mommy wants you to do your homework, too, doesn't she?" Isabel knew that was true. "Then get to work."

"B-But..." Isabel didn't want to be the only one stuck doing homework... The big girls had probably been smart enough to get theirs out of the way, however, unlike her. And Ellie was right, Mommy wouldn't be happy if she found out she hadn't gotten it finished... "All right," she caved. "Whatever you say..."

"And put your glasses on," Ellie picked them up, sliding them onto Isabel's face. "You don't want to hurt your eyes staring at the screen."

Isabel glanced over the laptop's screen at the other girls, nibbling her bottom lip. She really should tell them to stop... Or at least see if they could help her with her homework, which was all flying over her head at the moment... But any time she saw one of them peer over at her, inadvertently catching their eye, and she saw them smirk, she was reminded of how she was just a dorky kid sister, who was lucky to even be allowed in the same room as them.

That was why she didn't say anything at first when they put on a horror movie. At the very least, it didn't seem like they were drinking quite as much, so she could feel like she'd almost accomplished one of her goals, in a matter of speaking... Even if she'd had nothing to do with it.

She did her best to ignore the fear bubbling up inside her at what was happening on the TV, trying to concentrate on the laptop instead, but any time she heard something happen, she couldn't help glancing up, then immediately squeaking and squirming in fright, completely unaware that all the movement was making her skirt ride up, helping guarantee she was flashing her diaper to anyone who looked over at her, which they did every time she made a noise, giggling at her.

That only made her more determined to stick with it, to prove she was as grown-up as them, and wasn't scared... But, after seeing yet another person get a knife to the face, with an excessive amount of blood spray, she couldn't take it anymore. "I-I don't think you should be watching this. I-It's not a very nice movie..."

"I forgot," Ellie grinned. "You're in charge, aren't you? Then you should pick our movie, huh?" She tossed the remote to Isabel. "Go on... Pick."

Isabel was quick to turn off the movie, but deciding what to do after was far more difficult. She could feel everyone staring at her, everyone watching her, judging her... She had to pick the right thing, something cool, that would prove she wasn't some dumb little girl who could only handle cartoons and princesses and ponies... It was a lot of pressure...

"M-Maybe you should choose," she held the remote back out to Ellie. "I-It's your sleepover."

"Yes, it is, isn't it?" Ellie declared. "And I already made my choice."

She resumed the horror movie, to Isabel's dismay. "No!" Isabel kicked her legs. "I said..!"

"What do you care what we watch anyway?" Ellie asked. "You have to go finish your homework."

"I'm trying!" Isabel whined, gesturing at the computer. "But..."

"Don't be silly," Ellie chuckled. "Your homework isn't on there! Come on, I'll get you started... We wouldn't want Mommy to get upset at me if you don't get it done."

"Sh-She wouldn't," Isabel shook her head. "I'm the one in charge, so..."

"Uh-huh," Ellie glanced at her friends, all of them giggling. "Come on," she repeated, holding her hand out, and Isabel obediently took it, letting herself be led back to her room. "Here we go... The movie can't scare you in here."

"I-I wasn't scared," Isabel fibbed. "And I can't stay here, I need to keep an eye on..."

"Maybe you can come back out when you're done with your homework," Ellie said. "Here, we might as well take all this off..." She slid Isabel's shirt off, and then her skirt, Isabel blushing as she stood there in only her diaper. "You're in here by yourself, and it's warm tonight, isn't it?"

"I-I guess..." Isabel shrugged. It also meant she couldn't get out to the living room to check on them as quickly, since she'd have to get dressed first... Or let them all see her diaper, and her naked body, so much smaller than theirs...

"This is better, right?" Ellie set a workbook on the bed. "Much more your speed. Just give me a call if you need help... Or a change." She helped Isabel up onto her bed, laying on her tummy in front of the workbook and giving the seat of her diaper a pat before stepping out, leaving the door open a crack.

Isabel could faintly hear the movie from down the hallway, which, in its own way, might have been even worse than seeing it. Having the door not fully closed also meant anyone could peek in and see her, despite Ellie assurances... But the thought of getting up and walking over to it was even more intimidating than that, so she did her best to pretend that wasn't the case, and concentrated on her workbook.

It was, to her surprise when she opened it, focused on the alphabet, with pages for each letter filled with pictures of objects that started with it, and lines to practice writing it. She was way too old for this kind of thing! Wasn't she? It was far, far too easy for her, and yet... Well, she was still in diapers, wasn't she? She thought she was more of a big girl than this, but maybe that was only because she'd been around her sister and her friends, and she was pretending to be like them...

She wiggled on her bed, feeling tinier and tinier as she got to work, not even thinking twice when she felt a trickle of wetness in her pants anymore. It wasn't that big of a deal anyway... Her diaper could handle it, and she had a lot of homework to get through... It wasn't until she felt the pain in her tummy that she started to worry.

She held out as long as she could before she hopped out of bed, toddling over to her door and peeking out. From the noise echoing down the hall, it seemed like the movie was still going on, and it sounded scarier than ever. She whimpered, squirming in place... The bathroom would take her closer, and if she wasn't careful, she might catch a glimpse of the screen when she went there, and she didn't want that... Especially because, if she made a noise, that might attract attention, and then all the big girls would see her running around in just a diaper...

She did have clothes she could put on, of course, but that didn't even occur to her in the moment. She stared down the hallway, bouncing in place, not knowing what to do, until, finally, her body made up her mind for her. She gasped as she felt a push, her knees bending on their own volition as she started to squat, diaper slowly expanding around her as she filled it up, too much of a baby to take even a single step closer to the bathroom. No wonder Ellie had sent her to her room instead of letting her stay at the sleepover with the big girls!

"Izzy!" Ellie scolded when she came in to check on her after the movie. Isabel sniffled, her thumb popping straight into her mouth, where she started to suck on it without a second thought. "Why didn't you use the potty?"

"I-I dunno," Isabel shrugged.

"And you're soaked, too!" Ellie shook her head. "Look, you leaked on your comforter! Honestly, Izzy... All right, get up. You're going to take this to the laundry room, and I'll put a fresh one on, and get a clean diaper ready to change you into for bedtime."

"B-But... It's a sleepover..." Isabel whined. "I-It's too early to go to bed!"

"Not for little girls who poop their Pampers, it isn't," Ellie told her. "Now, march!" She gave the drooping seat of Isabel's diapers a swat, sending her toddling away, comforter in hand, not even thinking about the fact that she was going to have to walk right past the other girls until she was already there. She hugged the blanket tight, hiding the front of her body, but there was nothing she could do to keep them from seeing the far more incriminating back of her diaper, and she had no doubt all the giggling she heard as she walked away was from that. And then, after dropping off the comforter, she had nothing whatsoever to hide her shame with.

She wanted to rush past as fast as she could go, but she couldn't help herself when she approached the living room, seeing the empty cups and paper plates strewn all around. "Y-You guys need to clean this up!" she ordered, arms folded over her chest.

"And you need a clean diaper," Kalista replied. "Oh, but you're not even big enough to do that on your own, are you?"

"Y-Yes, I am," Isabel blushed. "I-I'm a big girl, and I'm in charge, a-and I say..."

"Izzy!" Isabel jumped at the sound of Ellie's voice, turning bashfully to see her standing in the hallway, waiting impatiently. "I told you, it's too late at night for you to be playing pretend... We need to get you out of that stinky diaper and into bed, young lady!"

Isabel looked around at the other girls desperately, wanting just one of them to protest, and tell her sister that she should be allowed to stay up with them a little longer... But of course they didn't. It was so obvious what a baby she was, compared to them. Reluctantly, she waddled over, letting herself be taken back to her room and given a diaper change, Ellie tugging a pair of plastic pants up over her diaper for extra protection before tucking her in.

The next thing Isabel knew, she was hearing a knock on her door, jolting her awake. She groaned, shaking her head, wondering how her mind had cooked up such a strange dream for her, and trying to remember what had actually happened the night before...

"Isabel!" her mother's voice boomed from the other side of the door. "Open the door! We need to talk, young lady! I left you in charge, and the house is a wreck, and the girls told me you let them into the liquor cabinet! They're not even out of high school yet! What were you thinking?!"

Isabel frowned, shifting in bed. That hadn't happened... Had it? She would never have done that, or let them get away with it... But, in her dream...

"Open the door," her mother repeated. "This is serious, Isabel..."

Isabel squirmed again, confused. What was she wearing?! It was so big and bulky, somehow feeling both warm, and cool and clammy, at the same time, or at least in different parts... It almost felt like... But that had only been a dream, hadn't it? She glanced down at herself, eyes widening in fear and confusion, just in time for her door to burst open.

"I warned you! Now, what do you have...?" her mother demanded, pausing as she caught sight of the same thing that had shocked Isabel, the college girl scrambling to cover the wet diaper she was wearing a moment too late. "Well," her mom shook her head. "I guess we have something else to talk about, too, don't we?"

"I-It's not what it looks like!" Isabel insisted, but, when her mother asked what it was instead, she had no answer, no way to explain away the wet diaper she was wearing, or the used Goodnites and diaper that were found in the garbage can while they cleaned up the mess the slumber party had left behind.

"This doesn't even count as your punishment," her mother warned her, as she sorted through the laundry Isabel had brought home for the weekend, taking away all of her panties. "We'll discuss that when you get home for the summer... This just seems like a necessary precaution."

She was sent back to college with the rest of Ellie's old diapers, after a humiliating call to her RA where her mother had explained the situation, and had the girl agree to regularly check in on her and be sure she was wearing them like she clearly needed to. It shouldn't have been a big deal, beyond the embarrassment - which was bad enough, admittedly - since she knew she could quickly prove that, despite whatever had happened at the sleepover, she didn't need diapers...

Except, every now and then, Ellie would text her a video of a pocket watch, slowly swinging back and forth... Videos that Isabel couldn't keep herself from watching, staring intently at her phone, not even noticing the trickle of warmth making its way into her diaper until it was over.

It was always much harder to make it to the bathroom for a little while after that, or to remember to even try... Each time it happened, the effects lasted longer and longer... But she could never quite recall what had triggered it, why it had started, making it seem like there was no explanation, except her own, weakening bladder. The school nurse couldn't find a reason for it, and neither could the doctor. And every time she got the text, she didn't hesitate to tap on the video, seeing no reason not to.

Was she going to be completely incontinent by summer vacation? It definitely felt that way, at times, especially after her first messy accident, right in the middle of class. Soon, it seemed as though her pants were poopy almost as often as they were soggy, and with just as little warning.

"Don't worry, baby sister," Ellie texted when Isabel confessed that to her. "I'd be happy to potty train you over the summer."

"Very funny," Isabel replied, but she couldn't help wondering if it was actually a joke at all. What she didn't wonder about at all - what didn't even catch her eye, or strike her as odd - was how Ellie had called her 'baby sister.' And why should it? That was simply what she was....
