Hi guys. Just a quick update on the Aero testing. I've been doing some baseline comparisons with the same position, equipment, and test protocol to get an idea of how stable the CdA figures are from the AeroLab tech sensor in different wind conditions. This night was extremely gusty from a True Wind Angle (TWA) of about 90 degrees. This type of condition really tests the pitot tube's ability to capture gusts and transients at extreme angles. Normally 3 hole ducts like this are only good for Apparent Wind Angles (AWA) of +- 25 deg or so. Let's hope i had enough forward speed to get in this AWA range! Soon I'll be progressing on to the different wheelsets and seeing if there is any REAL tangible differences between 50mm wheelsets, or are they all the same? I'll also be exploring the extremes of the spectrum too.
Cheers all.
