Hey everyone! I wanted to drop in an update and start doing this monthly. There is not a ton of news at this time but, there is one big thing! And the reason why this post is public.
Patreon has added subscription billing as an option and I activated it! So, this is how it works:
Billing Schedule
Patrons are charged on the day they join your membership, and then monthly on that same date. For example, if a patron joins on the 10th, they’ll be charged on that day, and then monthly on the 10th. All patrons who joined before your switch to subscription billing continue to be charged on the 1st of each month.
Hopefully, this works out a bit better for everyone! No more worrying about joining at the end of the month and being double billed. Literally no downside for you!
One bit of news that concerns you guys is that after talking with some other authors who have started doing it, I am leaning toward taking an admin week each month. Everyone I have discussed it with swears by it, and it should help maintain quality. We'll see though. I have a few weeks to finally decide.
Lastly, I am going to put together a poll after I finish writing book 1 for the next side story. Be on the look out for that in the next week or two.
