KBBQ Green Onion Salad + Instant Kimchi

Instant Kimchi

1 head nappa cabbage

2 cups water

1/3 cup salt

garlic, minced

2 green onions, chopped

2 tbsp gochugaru

1 tbsp fish sauce

1 tbsp apricot jam

toasted sesame seeds

- cut nappa cabbage into bite sized pieces

- dissolve salt in 2 cups water

- soak cabbage in salt water for 40min

- wash the cabbage from the salt water after 40min

- in the nappa cabbage, put in the rest of the ingredients and mix

- can eat right away, or store in fridge for 1 week

Green Onion Salad for KBBQ

bundle of green onions

2 tbsp apple vinegar

2 tbsp gochugaru

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp sesame oil

toasted sesame seeds

- shred green onions into fine slivers

- combine the rest of the ingredients with the sliced green onions and mix

- enjoy immediately
