My delusional sense of private-community on Patreon has been gunned down in the streets by Redditors (slur), so there's definitely a greater sense of hesitancy when sharing this "BTS" because it's literally 17 minutes of the movie. I had the sense that Patreon was more like an old internet forum, but ultimately we haven't any control over who or how people choose to consume what's published. This makes me naseous, despite being nobody important. Can you imagine being famous? That would suck ass.
On a note that's about the movie, the hardest part is done! I think I've got a weekend of filming lower cost, simpler shoots, before rolling entirely into post-production. The end of the second clip shows the level of detail I'm going for there. I'm going to use the word movie, because the live-action segments alone are 90 minutes.
I'd really love to watch this in theaters with a crowd. Would anyone be actually interested in a showing when it's done? One in LA, Austin or NYC, and maybe one in the UK? Obviously, a bit far from now, just gauging. Maybe it's stupid!
Please do share your thoughts on everything I just yapped about, and the clips. Does it look like shit? Let me know gently!
