It's inevitable that Jill found out - the hard way - that knives don't really work well on the Nemesis. No matter how sharp it is, it is useless againsts the long reach of Nemesis's giant fists. 

With a single punch, Jill was flunged away, hitting the ground hard, with her left side of her face throbbing in pain... 

And as Nemesis inches closer to her, it finally dawned on Jill that she really has no choice but to try to run... As fast as she could.
