An Adventurer's Tour Guide To The Virtual World! (Preview)

Hello there and welcome to my adventure recommendations list. Every month all kinds of adventures or activities are released to the public, this list aims to compile and bring to light a curated list of worlds each month that are definitely worth your time experiencing.
I wanted it to be a list you can show people who don’t play VRChat to let them have a sneak peek at the many possibilities within the game. Even as time passes I hope that you may refer back to this list and have it save you time searching for the next adventure to head out together with your friends on.
Most of these worlds can be played in desktop but of course VR is recommended for the full experience. If there is no desktop support, it will be stated (Some of the worlds can be completed in desktop but it will be much more difficult)
I’ll also provide a recommended party size, though single player is possible in most of these worlds I’ll usually recommend coming with at least one friend! After all, experiences are richer when shared with others. If a maximum recommended player count is provided it means that either the world does not support more than that number of players or the world wouldn’t be fun for a large group.
Lastly I’ve added content warnings for *Epilepsy and *Motion Sickness so do take note before you enter. I personally recommend leaving worlds that cause *Motion Sickness to last as they can affect the world hopping experience if you play them early.
Let's start off with the big 3 released or updated back in January! Each of these worlds have taken many months to produce and are all extremely high quality. They also come with a trailer produced by their respective creators, I've provided links below and I highly recommend checking them out.
I’ve also provided a quick start tutorial for these 3 worlds as I know some of them can be have not been localised to the Japanese language. I’ve simplified down the steps to the bare minimum required to quickly begin each game and start playing. Most of the details should come to you intuitively as you continue playing from there.

Ever wanted to play those classic arcade rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution or Stepmania?
Well! Sightstep is a classic four arrow rhythm game where visuals and the world around you sync to the music. Experience the full nostalgia of a classic four arrow rhythm game with controls for your keyboard, hands and even your feet! All this accompanied with a modern VR twist where the world around you and even the arrows shift and sway to the music.
This world is based upon the stepmania mod NotITG (Not In The Groove) which is where the inspiration for the extreme visuals comes from.
The game supports up to four players at once with four different playstyles.
Quick Start Guide
Choose your controls/playstyle
- "Hand Pad" (Four floating arrows in front of your avatar that you can click with your hands)
- "FBT Pad" (Arrows by your legs that you can step on if you have full body tracking)
- "Keyboard/Real Pad" (Play using keyboard arrow keys or a physical mat)
Calibrate Your Avatar (Only applies to Hand pad and FBT Pad)
- Start by auto calculating your height by pressing "Calculate Height" You can do light adjustments after using playspace
- Next adjust the size of the controls so that you can comfortable reach each arrow with either your hands or legs
- The arrows here will flash when you are touching them so you can check
- You may change the type of graphics you want for the onscreen text.
- You can also disable all extra world visuals if you just wish to play with only the arrows on screen.
- Join an available slot to change the song.
- Use the arrows to select a song (I recommend picking a song the easiest difficulty available if this is your first time just so you can get used to the visuals.)
- Choose a difficulty level (Some songs don't have certain difficulties)
- Lastly just press ready and hit start!
- At the moment there are four songs available with more to be added in the future!
- A song specifically for audio sync is also available if you are hitting notes consistently late or early
- If the song is too difficult a prompt will appear where you can then press either the right trigger or left mouse button to forfeit early.
I think this game has some of the most potential as more updates get released. The creator is still actively working on it so keep an eye out for more!

Ready to test your puzzle solving skills? Triangular is a world that’ll require you to use the most out of all your senses to deduce the solutions from the seemingly simple puzzles laid out before you. At the end of each section you’ll be awarded with a trophy for your efforts. Complete the levels and collect all 4 trophies to finish the world! The world should take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete and can be done with multiple friends!

Honestly happiness can come from the strangest of places. This simple act of crafting a line of snow ducks with the provided tools will fill you with a true sense of satisfaction. Unfortunately though, this one only works in VR!

*Motion Sickness Warning, Desert heat effect shifts the ground around you
It’s hot, the heatwaves are strong enough to make the shifting sands flow even more like water. This endless desert sea stretches infinitely before you, if not for the gigantic looming structure in the distance you might not be sure where to venture next.
After what feels like an eternity, you find yourself walking through the doors of the seemingly abandoned structure. Surprise overtakes you as the mechanisms whirr to life, carrying you to the peak. From here, the desert expanse only feels ever the more unending.
To begin your journey (Press the button nearby that says ‘does something’) (Press the large jewel in the centre of the room)
As you hand stretches away from the beautiful gem, you wonder what secrets this place holds. There doesn’t seem to be a way out of this desert, you begin to wonder how you ended up here in the first place when a gleam in the distance catches your eye.
(There are five gems scattered in the desert, collect them all and the Ineffable Mechanism will reveal itself within the heart of the journey’s beginning)
You’ve reached the end of the journey now. Come. Enter. And receive your reward.
