You are boarding an alien ship, tasked with shutting down the main drive that will send the vessel crashing down. Some resistance is to be expected...

As many of you have probably guessed, the main inspiration of this map was Halo.
This particular style of purple, blue, and round shapes has become so recognizable for the series, and I believe for the alien theme in many games to come after it!
