For the past few weeks I've been thinking about re-structuring my tier rewards, and improve the kind of content I provide. Of course I can ponder on it for many hours, and I have/will, but the best people to ask for advice will of course be you!
Please, if you could provide feedback and thoughts on some of the below topics, or share any other suggestions below, that would be immensely helpful. Thank you!
Better quality, unique maps
Some changes in my life situation has made it so that I have now have considerate amount of free time. This change allows me to spend more time and attention on my maps, which I hope will result into better quality and more beautiful maps, and help grow this page!
Tier rewards
While I will be looking at the rewards of all tiers, I've been particularly wanting to change the rewards of the 'Scientist' tier, which I would like to give a boost to better justify the price, and in turn improve the overall value of my patreon page. Currently it's a bit of a weird "jump" to the variant tier, especially if people are not interested in the animated maps it is aimed at.
I am mostly looking at the option to increase the number of variants I create per map.
More variants
Currently I'm thinking of the idea to add 3 variants to the 'Scientst' tier, add the scenic views to this tier as well, and increase the 'Cartographer' tier from 3 to additional 4 variants (or switch this to something like Foundry integration, Moulinette, more on that below).
Animated maps
Currently I animate every variant map, but if I were to increase the number of variants, I would add so many hours to the already very time consuming editing process of editing the animated versions that it would become too much for me. Currently every 1 map already has: Gridded mp4, gridded webm, griddless mp4, gridless webm. I'm looking into the option to animate only the base map of every release, but then the variants will not be animated. Flip side is that there will be many more of them.
Other reward possiblities - Foundry VTT, Moulinette?
Here is especially where I would like to ask for your experience and input.
I have not used Foundry VTT myself yet, but have had requests and seen other creators provide ready made Foundry VTT packs. As I understand it it means it will have walls, lighting, doors etc set up, but how does that work for the more open maps?
For example on the left map I could add all the walls, and make it so you can't look behind them, but what would you like to see on maps such as the one on the right? One big open space, do creators usually just skip creating walls for this as there aren't any? What would you as patron expect from such a map when subscribed to a benefit that provides Foundry VTT ready? I imagine it would be a great opportunity to add more things such as pillars and other kinds of cover that's not a wall, to break line of sight.

Does anyone here use the tool, and would like to see it part of one of the tiers here as well?
