You find your roommate's crumpled love poems, which leads to an interesting revelation.
To those who have been waiting for this audio since it appeared in the polls, I'm happy to finally share it with you! This was an... interesting character to play. But I really enjoyed writing her poems! A little birdie told me that Blood Burns (or at least the first draft of it) sounds as if it was written by someone who'd been writing poetry for the first time. And he wasn't entirely wrong. I've always preferred writing prose, but I love when I have the chance to experiment with poetry for an audio.
I'm considering posting a chit-chat in which I delve into the meanings of each poem. Maybe I'll even share the first draft of Blood Burns. Shoutout to @SolidSoda on YouTube for most accurately interpreting The Dandelion! Though, as mentioned in the audio, interpretations are largely personal, and any interpretation is valid. Thank you to everyone who participated in my little guessing game, and congratulations to @SolidSoda again! The dandelion described in the poem is a metaphor for my character, and the poem is about her relationship to the listener. But more on that in my next chit-chat!
I know... I know what you're going to say about the ending, I know! I just couldn't write an audio about infidelity without ending it that way. I can write all sorts of messed up audios, but when it comes to cheating, I just... can't. At least without ending it that way. One of the lessons that my theater professor taught me in college is to never judge your character, but my morals got in the way this time.
Can you forgive me? 🥺 Can I make it up to you with Touch-Starved Best Friend Part 3? 😇 If I told you that it's already recorded, would you forgive me then? 😉
With that said, be warned... The ending is a bit jarring! I don't recommend listening to this audio while trying to sleep. The entire story serves more as entertainment than a sleep aid honestly. We'll have another sleep aid soon.
Everyone doing okay? Take care, we'll talk soon.
