Making some good progress again! I redid show making and made it a lot better, at least in my opinion. A quick recap:
- Recoded the way hiring works. You won't notice but for me it's a thousand times easier to add more girls now
- The story is a one-sentence thing for shows. You get a randomly generated one based on your genre, or you can write your own
- Rebalanced cost and success rate for each girl
- Added more girls
- You now pay per episode, making more episodes significantly pricier
- Making a 90+ percent success show now takes 40+ million instead of just a few
- Cost and profits are way more balanced to avoid exploitation and hopefully get people to use more variation instead of making the same thing over and over because it's the most profitable (hard to avoid fully, but at least it'll now take some playtime before you're able to make the most expensive hitshow)
- Success is calculated differently, less luck/chance based and more based on your success rating
- You can finally see the shows you created so far in the movie menu
I've also been doing lots of bugfixing, wrote some fun scenes for recruiting new girls for the concerts (Billie Eilish fans will enjoy the coming update) and made the gym semi-buyable. Adriana Lima stays manager to not mess with the storyline, but you can become a partner and co-own the gym with her now, making some money as well as upgrading it for more cash ánd more features, like a gloryhole in the showers or group lessons that can trigger events.
Now onto the poll. Next on the to-do list is redoing movies. I'm happy with the shows now, but movies are a bit more complicated. The story creation is pretty hard to do. I was thinking of a three-act structure where you pick act 1, act 2 and act 3, but making them fit together is a pain in the ass. So my question is: How important is it to create a story? Is it enough to have one sentence (custom or randomly generated) or do you prefer crafting a story with more options?
