GTA Day

I had a GTA gig in Stonybrook, Long Island (which meant six hours of commuting!) and then I performed in Ten Foot Rat Cabaret. So, it's been a long day, but I got some good writing done. Here's a bit that I thought was good.

"You still love me." He doesn't say it like a question. But even he can't help but be surprised. He's only realized it just now and can't understand why it would be true. After everything that's happened, it shouldn't be true. But I surprise myself when I say
"Of course I do."

It tips me off balance, but I know I'm being honest.

"I loved you once," I tell him. "That doesn't go away. Love doesn't die it just....stops being a good idea."
