Lighting test

I finally have a photography area set up in my apartment! (mostly)

I need more light. The shots look fine small, but they get grainy really fast. I talked with a videographer friend and searched around for a class on skillshare and I think I can remedy things with a trip to the hardware store.

But I was so excited to have taken even vaguely decent photos of myself, that I couldn't resist quickly photoshopping one onto a watercolor background. Janky as it is, I really LIKE the results. The combination is dreamlike and kind of theatrical. The contrast of the photo and the painting has a collage-like look that I really enjoy.

The more I look at it, the more this feels like the right direction.
