"Be Bold and Mighty Forces Will Come to Your Aid."

Thursday I took a class on budgeting for immersive theatre. The teacher was really sweet and gave us the templates she uses for making budgets for Third Rail shows. Even though it didn't give any specific numbers, it showed me the list of things I need to think about. And even though that seems small and simple, it made something that seemed impossible now just seem incredibly difficult, which is really the first step to getting anything done.  

One of the other students was a burlesque performer/professional dancer who works with Third Rail. He offered to have coffee with me some time and talk about how immersive theatre gets created.

Later that night I had a salon with a friend of mine (does it counts as a salon if there's only two of you?) and we talked about the projects we were working on and she really liked my ideas and said she'd like to do a video component if it's something I could use.

It was a great reminder that I have a really great network of people with a wide range of skills who actually want to help me and work with me, as long as I can get together the courage to ask.

The title of this post is a quote from Goethe, one I probably need to put on my wall. I must remember that my friends are mighty forces.
