Light Up Headdress

I've been helping to design an event and the only theme they gave me was Energize. So after some thinking and pintresting I came to the idea of a neon, light up, planet. A lot of my inspiration images came from burning man so Johnny had nicknamed the event Weedy McBongington's 420 Free For All. I spent most of Tuesday making jewels out of these really cool plastic sheets I got from canal plastics and now I'm making them into light up costume pieces. I was having a hard time finding the right base for this headdress. Usually a sun visor works best but I couldn't find one in any of my local dollar stores. But! I *did* find a flashing birthday tiara and that was 10 times better. After that it was just a matter of sticking things together till they looked good.
