For sales moving forward, dropping mutations, crown style and tail style will not incur a cost if it’s grouped with other purchases. Keep in mind that adult elnin cannot drop rank if you’re dropping a crown or tail to a lower MP style. If the only purchase you’re making is dropping a mutation/crown style/tail style at that time, it will incur a $5 cost.
There will be THREE different forms for this sale, so double check that you're submitting the one(s) you want. One form is for the limited 1-per-person djinnin MYO/upgrade slot, one form is for the limited 1-per-person blank MYO slot, and the other form will cover all other edits/growths/etc to your other existing elnins, with a cap of 5 edit/growth forms per user. So if you want to get a Djinnin MYO/Upgrade slot, a MYO slot, as well as a growth slot for a kittom you already own, you'll need to submit all three forms.
Please also note, for MYO slots specifically, there will be longer trade cooldowns on finished designs because they are Patreon-exclusive. Be sure to read the "Ownership and transfer rules" section below so you know what to expect ahead of time!
Forms will have a question to clarify how you would like to be invoiced. This will hopefully streamline any questions on if invoicing can be separated or not for certain sales.
Slot workflow:

These slots are going to be limited to one per person.

If purchasing a blank MYO slot: The unused slot is non transferable as with any other MYO slot. Once the elnin's design art is approved and applied, a 6 month transfer cooldown will begin for djinnin, and 3 months for standard MYO slots. Once the cooldown period is up, it can be sold/traded/gifted as normal.
If purchasing a djinnin upgrade to an existing elnin: The elnin immediately becomes non-transferable. Once the elnin's upgraded design art is approved and applied, a 6 month transfer cooldown will begin. Once the cooldown period is up, it can be sold/traded/gifted as normal.
I realize 6 months is quite a long time, but it helps me feel more comfortable with doing a fully open sales period which would allow everyone a chance to purchase rather than doing a limited number of slots and leaving claims up to a randomizer or speed sale.
The trade cooldown doesn't officially start until an elnin's official design art is approved and updated on the masterlist. That means if you purchase the slot for an existing standard elnin, you can no longer trade or sell that elnin until they've finished their upgrade or edits. Be sure that you're ok with this rule before moving forward!

With the release of djinnin, there will now be at least two distinct pure subtypes (faenin and djinnin) that exist in the group. This sale will be for creating or upgrading elnin to pure djinnin subtype elnin only.
So what does this mean for users who have elnin with faenin subtype traits that users may want to apply a djinnin upgrade to? The FAQ below should hopefully answer some of those questions.
Can hybrid elnin be obtained as a result of this sale?
No. At this time we are not allowing the mixing of elnin subtype traits. No hybrid elnin will be created as a result of this sale. If what you are desiring is an elnin that is hybrid in any way, we highly recommend that you wait for those future details to be released before jumping into upgrading elnin with other subtype traits. Any subtype traits that cannot exist on djinnin because they are faenin subtype traits will be permanently dropped. (See FAQ questions below for details on this.)
We don't want to rush implementation of these kinds of complex updates. The logistics for how we plan to do hybrid elnins has presented some tricky challenges and though most of the heavy lifting is done, we're giving the system a little bit more breathing room just in case the second subtype release exposes any unexpected difficulties.
One thing we can confirm though, is that widely-available standard hybrid elnin will only allow certain currently non-stackable traits to be stacked on the same elnin. They will not allow for traits to be blended in one location. (For example: Standard hybrid elnin will not be able to have miniature wings that depict multiple subtypes all on a single wing, like half-fiendish and half-fae influences. The same would go for blending two subtype trait influences in one spot, like blended winglets and so on.)
If my elnin has faenin or other non-djinnin subtype traits and I would like to upgrade them with this sale, what happens to their faenin (or non-djinnin) subtype traits?
Any subtype traits associated with the faenin (or another) subtype will be dropped, as well as any specific mutations/boons/traits directly tied to subtype traits. Such as faerie’s boon that allows flight for miniature-wings (fae) and luminous anima associated with Bulb (fae) tails. This goes for both pure faenin, which would essentially drop all their faenin traits and subtype to become a pure djinnin, and other elnin that might have subtype traits.

My elnin has elfin from some previous event, is that not a subtype mutation? What about Overwild (Aquatic) tail styles, are those subtype related?
There are some mutations that generally come with subtype sales, like elfin, but they are not necessarily considered to only occur on one pure subtype of elnin, and at times might appear on non-subtype elnin. Other mutations that are similar to elfin in this aspect are dire, cloud breath, and fire breath.
Some mutations may conflict with other available traits depending on what’s present. For example, you can’t have an elnin with dire and elfin at the same time. So if you had an elnin with elfin and you upgrade them to a pure djinnin, they would have djinnin subtype and stats, but you could pass on picking up the dire mutation in favor of keeping an existing elfin mutation.
Overwild (aquatic) tails are not considered a subtype related trait, similar to the hybrid tail style. If this tail is present on your elnin, you would not be required to drop it!
Doesn’t a hybrid elnin already exist?
There is only one elnin that was previously identified as hybrid, but that elnin specifically has had their subtype renamed as Empyrean to align it with a different subset of elnin with mixed traits. This is because this elnin (and others like it in the future) have a certain background lore and differences fleshed out that set them apart from standard hybrid elnin which are likely to be more available to the public. Specifically, Empyrean elnin will feature blended traits such as miniature wings that depict multiple subtypes all on a single wing, like half-fiendish and half-fae influences.
Other Empyrean elnin will likely only be available through premade sales and/or auctions by manaberri, whereas more common hybrid elnin are likely to be available through group participation or patreon upgrade sales eventually.
If I wait for hybrid elnin details to be released, will missing this sale mean I can never get a Djinnin?
This will not be the first and last way of obtaining djinnin in the group.
There is likely to be a future sale for subtypes after we release hybrid elnin in the future. Standard hybrid elnin available to the public through participation or MYO type sales will not feature traits that blend subtype features together in a single spot.
We recognize that by participating in this sale, people will get a pure djinnin subtype elnin sooner. We understand that there might be a fear of missing out on djinnin altogether by waiting for hybrid elnin to be released. We are going to try to be conscientious about this with sale scheduling when hybrid elnin are released.

The base slot is $275 and comes with a few bells and whistles.
If you're purchasing a brand new MYO, the base slot covers the cost of a kittom. If applying to an existing elnin, the slot will accommodate medium design changes. If you're wanting an adult MYO or if your elnin's rank is changing due to upgrades, then you would apply the normal cost for ranks, but we'll go into additions once I've laid out what the base slot covers.

Notes:
- ✦ Mutation cannot be dropped.
- ** Pomu (Fiendish Variant) cannot be dropped entirely (all elnins have a pomu), but you can replace it with Pomu (Standard) if preferred, you just need to specify if you want to do this.
- Default djinnin slots include several extra optional mutations. Any of these mutations can be dropped at the time the MYO or elnin art is approved, but after that, if you wish to add them, they will need to be repurchased either via EC/SC or USD (if there is a Patreon sale currently open and/or the trait is available for acquisition by ordinary means).
Moderators will follow up and confirm slot specifics via dA note after the MYO slot sale form closes if you have listed your dA account. (If you have not listed your dA account, please submit a WoE ticket with the “Patreon” Ticket Type within 24 hours of the form closing, otherwise our staff will assume the slot to be void if we have no means of contacting you outside of dA or WoE.)
Moderator staff will not be following up with users via Discord for these slots, but it may be used as a last resort for contact if the above means are not applicable.

Base MYO slots come with extras, but you are welcome to add on additional traits or adjustments if you'd like. I'll be using the same rules as with previous sales. This means if you'd like an adult elnin MYO slot instead of a kittom, you'd treat it like any other upgrade purchase (if you're unfamiliar with the process or if anything about this is confusing don't worry we'll be getting in touch to work it all out!).
Also, if you are upgrading an existing adult and you've already purchased any rank upgrades previously, we can adjust the cost of any new rank-ups done as part of this sale. For example, if you've purchased an adult elnin growth to adventurer ($75) and would now like a noble ($200) rank for them, we can adjust the price to reflect the previous sale ($125).
