MYO Faenin presale info. [NOT a sales post]

Hello all! I’m posting the information for the upcoming faenin myo sale about a week in advance so everyone has a little bit of extra time to plan. This will be the last sale of this type for faenin before we move on to working on other subtypes so I want to be sure we can give everyone a fair shot at the opportunity if they want it. ovob

Step one for this sale is replying with a 'claim' comment on the sales post when it goes up [Sales post will go up on Thursday April 14th at 1pm]. You must post a comment first before continuing. I won't be replying to the comments, this is just so that the mods have a list to cross reference to make sure that a) everyone who submitted a form is a patron and b) we have a helpful reference if we notice someone claimed a slot but hasn't submitted a form as the deadline approaches. If you do not post a claims comment, your order form will not be processed. Please note if you are purchasing for someone else you must specify up front who is getting the slot in your initial claims comment

The link to the actual order form will be shared on the sales post when it goes up. We'll be leaving the form open for 72 hrs [Thursday April 14th from 1pm PST to Sunday the 17th 1pm PST]. Order forms must be submitted within the 72hr sale window. If you do not submit your form within that time it will not be processed.

You may only purchase one faenin slot. So you can get either a blank myo kittom or an upgrade to an existing elnin, not both. There will be a lengthy cooldown on these because they're meant specifically to be patron exclusive, so be sure to read the trade rules so you're clear on them!

As a heads up, please keep in mind that because this is a fully open window it will likely mean that order/invoice processing will take a bit longer than last month's sales which were more limited in scope. The mods have done so so much to help streamline the process though so at least I shouldn't get completely stalled with invoices like I have with open windows in the past <3.

As a reminder, you cannot claim a slot if you currently have any outstanding invoices from me. So if you need to make any payments or talk to me about any issues with outstanding invoices please do so prior to the sale window! Side note, I'll be a little slow on responses this weekend for birthday shenanigans, so if you need a more immediate response you can also submit a ticket and a mod will likely be able to follow up sooner. Otherwise I'll check in more thoroughly next week.

Because the faenin sale is more of an exclusive one-off there is no worry for participation cooldowns this time.

Another side note, if you have questions about your order it's better to put them on your order form so that they can be discussed during processing rather than waiting to submit your initial form while you try to get an answer elsewhere and risk losing your slot. Your slot details are flexible up until an invoice is sent, so don't worry about changing things while you go over your order with the mods ^^)b
Alrighty, now onto the other details!

🔸Ownership and transfer rules:

These slots are going to be limited to one per person.

Proxying: You may purchase for someone else, but that means you are using your slot to do so and you cannot also purchase for yourself. Please note if you are purchasing for someone else you must specify up front who is getting the slot in your claim comment. The person you proxy for does not need to be pledged.

If purchasing a blank MYO slot: The unused slot is non transferable as with any other MYO slot. Once the elnin's design art is approved and applied, a 6 month transfer cooldown will begin. Once the cooldown period is up, it can be sold/traded/gifted as normal.

If purchasing an upgrade to an existing elnin: The elnin immediately becomes nontransferable. Once the elnin's upgraded design art is approved and applied, a 6 month transfer cooldown will begin. Once the cooldown period is up, it can be sold/traded/gifted as normal.

I realize 6 months is quite a long time, but it helps me feel more comfortable with doing a fully open sales period which would allow everyone a chance to purchase rather than doing a limited number of slots and leaving claims up to a randomizer or speed sale.

The trade cooldown doesn't officially start until the elnin's official faenin design art is approved and updated on the masterlist. That means if you purchase the slot for an existing standard elnin, you can no longer trade or sell that elnin until they've finished their transition into a fully fledged faenin. Be sure that you're ok with this rule before moving forward!

🔸Slot details:

🔸 The base slot is $275 and comes with a few bells and whistles. 🔸

If you're purchasing a brand new MYO, the base slot covers the cost of a kittom. If applying to an existing elnin the slot will accommodate medium design changes (remember that markings will often distort and become warbled/marbled from exposure to wild magics, take a look at the original faenins for an example of this. It's an optional bit of design consideration of course but it's fun side lore nonetheless x3 ). If you're wanting an adult MYO or if your elnin's rank is changing due to upgrades then you would apply the normal cost for ranks, but we'll go into additions once I've laid out what the base slot covers.

Access to faenin-only tail styles: Sylph/Imp/Puca

Mana saturated mutation
One of the following ear mutations: Petite/Oversized/Sleek/Forward-facing/Lop/Rounded
One of the following fluff mutations: Maned/Leggy fluff/Pantaloons/Extra fluffy cheeks

Notes:

- Default faenin cost includes several extra optional mutations. Any of these mutations can be dropped at the time the MYO or elnin art is approved, but after that if you wish to add them they will need to be repurchased either via EC/SC or USD (if there is a Patreon sale currently open).

- The Luminous anima mutation is added by default with the Puca tail type only. You may choose to optionally drop this mutation as well. If you swap to a different tail style at any point in time, the luminous anima mutation will be lost if it was added for free alongside the puca tail style. A note will be added to masterlist entries where this mutation was a free addition alongside the puca tail. If you are getting luminous anima for free alongside the puca tail style, it will be added to your slot by default, you do not need to select it as a paid mutation in the mutation section below. You will not get this mutation for free by default with any other tail style (sylph, imp, etc.) so if you want the mutation with a different tail style select it as a paid add-on.

🔸Adding more to your slot:

The base slot comes with extras but you are welcome to add on additional traits or adjustments if you'd like. I'll be using the same rules as with previous sales. This means if you'd like an adult elnin MYO slot instead of a kittom, you'd treat it like any other upgrade purchase (if you're unfamiliar with the process or if anything about this is confusing don't worry we'll be getting in touch to work it all out!).

Also, if you are upgrading an existing adult and you've already purchased any rank upgrades previously, we can adjust the cost of any new rankups done as part of this sale. For example, if you've purchased an adult elnin growth to adventurer ($75) and would now like a noble ($200) rank for them, we can adjust the price to reflect the previous sale ($125).

Payment plans: Payment plans are allowed. There is a more detailed breakdown on payment plan rules at the top of the sales form, but quickly I will note that plans longer than 2 months will not be allowed.

You will need to be logged into a google account to access the form for this sale. Email addresses will be collected by this form solely for the purpose of allowing the form to send you a copy of your response. Neither myself nor a moderator will contact you by email or store this data anywhere else.

You will only be able to edit your form during the 72hr sale window, but nothing is set in stone until we send your invoice. If you make a mistake or need to ask questions about anything in your order please don't worry too much and focus on getting your form in before the deadline. Please include any questions you have on your order form so the mods have an idea of what they'll need to go over with you.
