Interactive Animations

Hey everyone!

I recently was able to sit down and code stuff again. It actually went super well, but after I was done with what I wanted to work on, a problem popped in my head

The main issue is simply that I often aim way too high when it comes to coding game projects. I let it get out of hand and it becomes this massive project that I can't even make a dent in no matter how much I try

So I decided to stop myself before the problem happens again. Stop dreaming super huge and focus on stuff that I already know I can make

Years ago I used to make some interactive versions of my animations, simple stuff like just advancing it by clicking, or some where you had to directly interact with it by stroking and etc

I think I might give those another goal

The scope wouldnt be too much bigger compared to the videos I make right now, and I do think it's really fun when the animation is a mini game you can control

Here's what I wanna do: I'll give it a try within the next animations I make. If it all works out well enough, we try to keep doing them and maybe at some point make super small interactive games that are a bit of dialogue and then the animation, and we see where we go from there

Ok that's enough rambling for now. I just wanted to share some of my recent thoughts. I've been really craving to create something more substantial like that, but I also know myself enough to not fall into the same mistakes as I often do

Let's see where this goes, if you have any ideas that you'd like to see I'd love to hear them btw! I'm starting a big ideas folder for this little project

Anyway! Seeya next time 💋
