Hi lovelies,
I made an INSANE breakthrough this week on my "tech break" trying to improve my workflows.
Without getting too detailed, basically I was able to add the ability to control animation speed to Blender! This has been a huge flaw of the software for a while. It had a basic "speed" property but it wouldn't actually animate, so you couldn't accelerate and decelerate. I'm sure you can imagine what kind of things I can do with that. :D
Of course you've already seen me control speed earlier, but previously it required tedious workarounds. Now I've made it as easy as snapping my fingers.
Additionally, I may not have an animation ready for the 1st, so I am very sorry about that. But really the goal for this month was to improve my tech, and it's in a really good place now! I will try to maybe release some things in the first couple weeks of next month to make up for it.
And of course, starting next month, I will be starting up a long animation again. I have built the new rendering machine and it is gorgeous, and runs lightning fast with all the fastest parts you can get nowadays. :D So I am confident the next long animation will be way less stressful for me!
