Hi lovelies,
Thanks to your patronage, I can invest in all kinds of stuff to improve my artistic output. One thing I just bought is a Crucial X8 external SSD, for getting frame data from my 2nd machine.
Remember when Angle 2 was taking me several hours just to get off my other machine? I'm testing the same transfer now on the X8. After formatting it to NTFS and turning on Windows Write-Caching, that entire transfer has taken under 10 minutes.
I'm in disbelief. The transfer speed actually bottlenecked by the internal SSD in the computer, which is SATA III. What a time we live in where USB has gotten this fast!
