"A Vegan Wizard with a disdain for eating meat, cast a spell on all adventurers across the land, turning them into Vegetables.  These adventurers must now navigate a world were seemingly inert creatures now become deadly enemies. Animals such as Hedgehogs, Rabbits and other herbivores are now a dire threat.

These large Pot constructs were once idle pieces of cooking ware but have been spelled to life to attack those adventurers who once filled them with a range of ingredients."

The beginning of a new world/campaign maybe?
