I'm not quite sure where this came from to be honest! This didn't really start out as a Bucky audio, but the more that I wrote, the more that it felt very him, and it turned into this -gestures-. I'm not sure why the premise involved rain, maybe it's because I genuinely yearn for Autumn and it hasn't hit where I live yet. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy!

Bucky: Thank you, for agreeing to have a little....well....a little walking date I guess......I know we were gonna go to the theatre I just—you know--I know...you know—feeling a bit.....out of whack.....

Feel better in a wide open space......where there's.....a lot of light....

-chuckles ruefully- You'd think that, wouldn't you? But....wider open space? Easier to um--well.....see people coming.....

Anyway.....uh--Steve told me that the flowers around here were beautiful around this time of year--

--and....I didn't mean to...rhyme there....no......

Thank you.....I'm glad one of us has got their shit together.....

I...sor—pauses then sighs—thank you.....for being patient with me....

Yeah.....therapist says that I gotta get better at reframing things......instead of apologizing for....things I'm having difficulty with or things that I can't control.....I'm....trying to get better at thanking them for their kindness.....

Yeah.....

Feels better than begging for forgiveness......

We're almost literally stopping to smell the roses.....

There are still hard days......I think there will always be hard days......that's just.....a part of being human you know.....but....now the good days outlast the bad....

And I've lived through every worst day I've had so.......

Well....-chuckles softly- I guess that's what we get for not checking the weather before we left....

I don't think it's ruined...I figure if we just wait for a bit it'll pass.....

-through laughs- I'm sorry, it was just too perfect....

Just when I was talking about things getting better......

Well....no umbrella.....do you want to wait? Or should we brave the storm and try to get back to the car?

I think there's enough coverage from the trees.....could go from one to the other? That way we can still kind of see the flowers? Plus if it's a quick shower we won't have to leave?

We will get more wet though.....at least it isn't cold rain.......

If you want, I can try to reenact "Singin' in the Rain" for you....but I can't promise it'll be any good......Steve was the one who was better at show tunes than me......
