RE:ZERO Season 2 Episode 7 & 8 Timer Reaction!!

Episode 7 timer 

Episode 7: was interesting to see who is REALLY on Subaru's side as well as as seeing the witches scent start to affect Subaru again. I wasn't really surprised about the scent being caught on since he returned by death several times now and with Garfiel picking up on the scent since he is half beast. What was surprising though was about the forest being very specific on the ratio of blood that ties you to the forest. I see why Garfiel has ill feelings towards his sister.

Episode 8 timer 

Episode 8: Could not believe the torture inflicted in this episode!! (or was it not surprising how it got set up? ;P ) SO EVULLL.

Beatrice we find out is not a part of the witches cult but her book looks the defective replicas that are called "the gospel" Does this means the witches cult worships that book she 1 of the 2 true authentic books of?

In the last episode we heard something about Garfiel and the havoc he reaked in Azusa forest (I think that is what he called it?) And in this episode he went full beast mode destroying everything in his path... I can only imagine how bad it was with his previous incident... I just wonder if he is not able to control himself once he turns into a beast or if he is just truly that savage.

The unibunnies threw me off as well when he got kicked from the forest and there being snow. I feel like the bunnies have something to do with Ryuzu.... 

Now for the Witch of Greed... I really loved this part of episode 8 even though I am not sure how to truly interpret it. I felt like she was relieving some of Subaru's pain and helping him (tea she gave him) and was really consoling him, because of the way she talked and acted and the way Subaru reacted. But I also wonder if it was just solely out of greed she helped him on this part as she does mention that she just watched the whole time seeing him go through everything and didn't do anything , and then here she is asking to know more because she is greedy for knowledge.  

Is the reason why nothing happened when he told her about return by death because she is already dead? or is it because she already knew about it from watching this whole time? or is it just because she is a with as well? 

These are some thoughts and questions I was left with after watching these episodes. I'm not asking for answers from you as I hope they answer them in the upcoming episodes^^  and I don't want to be spoiled or others to be spoiled since I am not a manga reader for this and some others may not be as well~~

Thanks for reading and hopefully it wasn't too awful of a rant lol. I just wanted to cover what I was thinking about these episodes that I didn't say in the review 😜
