Cosmo Police Justy – Aug. 12th: Going back to 1985, the year the OVA format broke with a look at one Pierrot's follow-ups to Dallos, Cosmo Police Justy. A sci-fi with better than expected animation and one of the earliest recorded moeblobs in anime history. 

Spriggan – Aug. 26th: Since the 2022 ONA is currently blowing up on Netflix, its high time we look at the original film adaptation from the 90s. We'll look Spriggan's origins, how it stands the test of time and how found itself in the center of one of ADVs most boneheaded business decisions of the 00s. 

Slayers Return – Sept. 16th: Slayers time has returned and this year we look at another one of the Lina/Naga movies. Specifically, the one many people consider to be the best one. 

Junk Boy – Sept. 30th: Before we had Golden Boy, we had Junk Boy. A truly rancid ecchi anime from the 80s that shows that even flashy city pop aesthetics and peppery fanservice can't mask unfunny comedy and a protagonist you just want to beat over the head with a tire iton. 

Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned – Oct. 14th: KB visits a legend among "so bad its good" anime. We take a look at the 1980 Dracula film and how joint venture between Toei and Marvel Comics could produce a wellspring of unintentional comedy just in time for the Halloween season.  

Blood: The Last Vampire – Oct. 28th: Once upon a time, in the midst of the anime boom in early 00s, there was a horror OVA that captured the world by storm. It was on  Tarantino's recommended list. It spawned an anime franchise. It even got a live action remake. And it vanished from all mainstream consciousness. This is the story of Blood: The Last Vampire
