What is up, people? Before I lay out the anime I plan to talk about during the new year’s 1st quarter like I always do around this time, I need to make an announcement regarding some changes going forth for the YouTube channel.

So, last year was a pretty difficult year for me. I don’t think I had ever felt that burnt out as I had been all that year. There were a lot of factors being the cause of it. My video on Nausicaä in the Valley of The Wind (which I was very proud of) getting blocked and the failed appeal earning me a copyright strike. My computer of nine years slowly dying on me. The month-off I took in August (to deal with the burn out) resulting in me losing Patreon dollars that I have only just now recovered from. And I think compounding all this, was me being unable to make good on the promise of delivering the final episode of The Merrie History of Looney Tunes. Project kept increasing in scope and, even in its unfinished state, it is looking to be the LONGEST video I will ever make (so far.) Also, did you know commenting “where’s the next Looney Tunes!?” in an unrelated video doesn’t make the video come out faster? Crazy, I know.

Anyways, I’m not gonna stop making videos. I’ve been making videos for so long that stopping now would feel unnatural. But I feel like I need a better schedule considering I’m doing all of this while juggling a 40-hour a week day job and my social calendar. So, I’m gonna be reducing my bi-monthly video schedule by one. Meaning that instead of six (6) videos per quarter, you will be getting five (5). One month will be devoted to one video while the other two will get two like normal. The upside to this would be that it would allow me more time to work on videos with larger topics with better quality. With some of the video I’ve produced last year, it felt like my normal two week production schedule was not enough. This will hope to fix that. It will also have the benefit to give me more time to work side projects like Looney Tunes and other ones I have planned for the future.

Speaking of, when the final episode of Merrie History does get launched this year, I will be updating Patreon goals. It’ll outline some future projects that you can help build to. The best thing you can do to help me get videos out is donating. Burn out is a lot easier to avoid when money is less of an issue.

That’s all for now. Patrons will get a look at the new schedule on the 1st Quarter Report goes up tomorrow. Until then, see you for the next round of tapes!
