HELLO. HAPPY HUMP DAY.

So here are we with another round of random play. Just a little bit of k-hip-hop, a little bit of EXO, a little bit of predebut ballad. A good mix, if I do say so myself!! Hope you don’t mind us casually eating blueberry muffins during this watch. It’s part of our regularly scheduled mukbang with y’all.

A few thoughts as I rewatch now before the post …

  • Hoshi sounds WONDERFUL on this track - it’s kind of nice hearing his voice alone in this
  • also the fact that he was able to do this song with Epik High - iconic!!
  • I love Epik High … the concert that I went to last year was incredible; it was much more of a underground hip hop vibe to it vs like the classic kpop concert that I’ve gone to
  • BABY MONSTER voices … incredible; I kind of like seeing them Plain Jane like this, all the behind the scenes - really reminds you how young they are
  • and well Kai - you guys, KAI FROM EXO. we couldn’t just do one song, we had to do two.
  • “a butter blonde Korean man” is now one of my favorite phrases ever
  • the production design and wardrobe in “Peaches” is magnificent
  • and well, Baekhyun’s “Bambi” is also incredible and soooo smooth
  • and of course, we have to top off things with ENHYPEN with some Baby Shark goodness - quite a pivot but it works
