Hiya!

Happy Monday. Hope y’all had an amazing weekend. I had a pretty socially packed three days and now I need to retreat into my introvert corner and chill for awhile. Maybe catch up on some k-dramas or something (non Vincenzo ones) but something where I can just recharge. Maybe laugh some with 2D1N (a fav Korean variety show - it’s on Viki if you want to watch!).

So we’re checking out a new girl group in this reaction. A little bit of IVE today. Which I don’t know much about except that I’ve always heard Wonyoung’s name. I think she’s the most popular one or something. Anyways, I just looked up what their concept is because I was curious and found out that they have their own aesthetic: chaebol crush.

Honestly that makes sense. After watching these four songs, they kind of give off the chaebol vibe but blend it in a way that is elite and preppy but with a tinge of The Cardigans and Gloria Gaynor inspo. It’s just so interesting!!

Allison seemed to really like their music. I really loved the art direction particularly in the last MV. What do y’all think? Are y’all big fans of IVE? They’re coming to LA in a few months and I’m not yet sure if we’re like “concert ready” for them yet. But we’ll see!
