I’m not going to lie, I binged like five episodes of a k-drama this weekend and it was the best Sunday ever haha. I probably should have been editing videos but oh well. Most of it is done! But here’s what to expect for upcoming videos:

So I’ve been wanting to prep Allison to watch the infamous MMA 2019 BTS performance - the really long 40 minute concert in the middle of an awards show - but I wanted to make sure she earned it by watching all the MV’s related to it. We’ve managed to cover ALL the songs (even the mini instrumental ones) except for Fake Love and Danger. But all the other songs, she should know. But basically I want her mind blown by the entire performance. So that’s coming up soon in our next filming sesh. Probably that along with V’s Layover Album Listen.

Roommate/Casting Update:

  • Allison has officially moved out and we’ve worked out a schedule where she’ll swing by once a week or so to film some sessions. So we’re trying to be strategic about which shows and MV’s to watch. She says she prefers long form content (variety shows, k-dramas, docuseries) over music. So we’ll probably incorporate more of that in the future.
  • I’ll be rotating in some fresh faces and maybe a few oldies who want to come back for more k-pop, we’ll see. I have a lot of volunteers but no set dates yet. But when the time comes, I may need your help selecting music for them since I always try to curate a playlist for each guest.
  • There are some shows that I’ve been wanting to watch so I might react to them by myself without Allison - Suchwita is one of them. And maybe the new Dream Academy show. I’m not sure yet but I think that will happen in the future. Tbh I’ll probably have to divvy out which shows to watch together or solo.
