Hiya!
So last one in our Agust D Deep Dive. Nothing like ending the journey with the prequel to the trilogy.
Oh man. That scar. The heaviness that Suga went through all those years. How do we even begin to understand the struggle that he went through. I'm so glad that the scar that he visibly and invisibly has slowly began to fade and heal and go away.
There's just something about portraying that anxiety and fear and depression in such a clear and distinct way. Like feeling trapped and crawling on the ground - will you ever get out of this upside down?
And then to think that in the end, in Haegeum, he shoots that version of Agust D dead. That he's gone.
Is that what it's about? Am I reading that correctly?
Idk. I heard that both Suga and RM were reading a book called Almond and I'm not sure if that spurred on this particular song since it's about the amygdala. But I'm going to read it.
We loved Snooze also. It just hits differently. You can tell that Suga really thought deeply when writing this album. I can't believe we haven't listened to it as a whole yet - we sill though. Soon.
Anyways - that's it for now. Enjoy the video!
