EARLY ACCESS: BTS JIN - “THE ASTRONAUT M/V” + “THE ASTRONAUT” LIVE WITH COLDPLAY IN ARGENTINA

We're back to our "original programming" with me and Allison! I've been holding off on some of the newer k-pop releases because I want to react to them with you guys. Tbh I wish this timed out to last week just because it was the week that our beloved Jin Hyung went to his military enlistment. 

This song just hits so much harder now knowing that he'll be serving for the next 18 months. Our hilarious, kind-hearted, sensitive, joyful Jin will be serving his country and we will wait. 2025 can't come fast enough - but at the same time, knowing ARMY, there is complete respect and an understanding that this is just for a time. And they will come back stronger, deeper, and with incredible inspiration for whatever Chapter Two will look like. 

Anyways, I saw a YouTube short this morning about how no one showed up at Jin's enlistment ceremony. A reporter was like "really? no one is showing up?" and his colleague responded, "he asked them not to." And the reporter just couldn't believe the amount of trust and respect that ARMY and BTS have for each other. It's crazy. 

Just prayers of protection over Jin as he's the first to go. The rest will follow. 

I didn't even mention how beautiful Jin and Chris Martin's friendship is. It's so endearing. Everything about this pair of videos is endearing.
