Behind the Scenes: LBM /+Updates

As some may have overheard, last month was the Leipzig Book Fair (LBM for short) here in Germany. The Leipzig Book Fair is the second largest in Germany after the Frankfurt Book Fair. It is the spring meeting point of the German book industry and also the "Machandel Verlag", which published Loving Reaper's little booklet, had its booth. I was only there sporadically to sign some issues, which sold out shockingly fast. I thought I'd show you a little "behind the scenes".
Unfortunately, I missed registering my own booth, so I wanted to at least help out at my publisher.
As a reminder, it was the publisher who raised money for the local street cat shelter with the booklets (and still does) :)

Oh! And I finally got those foldable flyers (which are actually a little sample reading) printed. I hardly slept because I folded all night, but I still like the idea. So when I wasn't at the booth I wandered around the fair and left a few samples at break- and reading corners. Just trying new things, let's see how it goes.

And another thing: Earlier this year, as you might know, my beloved dog Trixi unfortunately lost her battle against cancer. Those were some very bad months for me, but I also realized that I am missing something in my life when I don't have a dog in the house. That's why I contacted a rescue agency (is that what it's called?) in Hungary a few days ago. If everything goes well, I can take in a new dog at the end of this month, which was picked up on the streets in Hungary. If you are interested I will be happy to post updates :) I think/hope Trixi would have liked that...
Anyway, I am very excited to greet a new dog soon :))
(I know this is a bit private, but the dog will definitely inspire a comic or two).
