Creating another Anniversary artwork

Can you believe that Loving Reaper is three years old today? Unbelievable how fast time flies. Unbelievable that after three years I can still share my stories with the world. I remember when I told a friend about my comic idea and she thought it was terrible. I still wanted to draw the comic and actually expected to get a lot of blacklash. But it didn't turn out that way. I was (positively) shocked at how well my first comic was received and that people even demanded a sequel. And so began the story of the Loving Reaper. 

But I don't want to bore you with sentimental schmaltz. I started the "tradition" back then that there should be a birthday picture every year. Far too rarely do I find the time for a single artwork between the comics. I wanted to share a little insight into the creation process with you on this occasion, mostly the image still changes while I draw it but the basic idea remains the same. Even if I'm ashamed for the first analog sketches, which I scribble so quickly and messy because I'm afraid otherwise to forget the basic idea lol.

I'm so incredibly grateful that you've made it possible for me to live off Patreon for the past 3 years, so that I can concentrate full time on my comics and all related projects. In the last 3 years a small magazine was published, a hardcover book, for a short time even a cuddly toy - and an agent! Loving Reaper has an agent! Unbelievable. Thanks for being part of this journey, I'm excited to see where the next year takes us :)
