As I have shared with you before, I'm working with a publisher right now on a hardcover edition that includes all the stories from 2019 and 2020, plus some unpublished ones. So I'm currently sketching out possible book covers. I'm not sure yet if I want something fully illustrated or something minimalist? I really like gold elements on book covers, but they have to be used well or it will look cheesy very quickly.

These designs are extremely rough, of course the finished cover would be as qualitatively polished as possible. I am currently trying to visualize what direction it COULD go in. I think the design "C" is the closest to the direction I like. Do you prefer illustrated or minimalistic covers, or do you not care about the covers? Have you ever bought a book just because the cover was so beautiful? If so, which one?
I want a cover that is so beautiful that it makes people curious :)
