I have already shown you parts of my sketchbook, but since it takes a little longer until the next comic I will give you an insight into my working process.
I think 30% of my time goes into patching up the stories. I cannot work with pure text, I have to see the pictures in front of me, even if they are only roughly sketched. I have to see how individual elements work and if the transitions are working too. Sometimes I have to recreate comics 4-5 times before I get a real flow into the story. The process always just takes some time. Maybe I get faster over time, but I find that if I hurry, you notice it when you read it. They can quickly seem "rushed" and I try to avoid that. But I am honest with you, it can be very stressful with so many people waiting for results.
I hope that when I am no longer a student I will have more time to concentrate on my art :')
