Since it's entirely german I translated the article for you:
Comics that hit the heart
Under the pseudonym Jenny Jinya, Jenny Hefczyc has been drawing and publishing illustrations and comics since the age of twelve. In addition to her studies in digital media and her passion for art, Jenny is a fervent animal rights activist. This combination has now led to a real breakthrough: "In a moment of resignation, world-weariness and the realization that I can't do much, I created a single JPG that I presented to the social networks," explains Hefczyc. There, the story went viral, and other multi-page works followed, which she published on the Internet. At their center is the loving Grim Reaper, who collects the souls of those animals that have died due to human error. "He listens to those who have no voice in our society. They are allowed to tell him their story," says Hefczyc. At the end of many comics there is an information page with explanations, further sources and donation pages. By the way, a publisher was also found who used the first two stories as comic books (ISBN 978-3-95959-202-4). And because the international demand was so great that the small publisher could hardly keep up, Jenny Jinya registered a business for the sale of her comics and related merchandise articles (www.lovingreaper.com). Her fans also promote her art via the social payment service Patreon. She donates 30 percent of the monthly income to animal protection organizations.
Jenny Hefczyc aka Jenny Jinya (https://Jenny-Jinya.com) is glad that she can use her art for something she believes in - by using it to draw attention to grievances and reach as many people as possible.
Sidenote on the right: For coloring and inserting text Jenny Jinya uses Photoshop, for very straight lines Paint-Tool SAI - and because of the many brushes and the fast graphic editor the drawing app Procreate
