Heya! Finally something new, am I right? For some unknown reason I decided to that going for the longest and most complicated evening hangouts is the right thing to do. And god I couldn't check all of it even if I had more time. SO lets hope it doesn't crash, or you can't your way to some unfinished scenes ^^Anyways to download the newest version: link is here!
As of today the game contains 58,300 words. (That does include work-in-progress routes though)
I swear to god if the game doesn't work because of some shit I did, I will be just dumping the raw files here in rage maybe.
What's new?
- Michael's and Ian's hangout event is now unlocked. You can go to the Michael's party, you just have to imagine the participants for now! Oh and of course you can hang out with Ian too ^^
- Michael's houses backgrounds (nearly all of the ones needed, except for 1-2).
- Michael got few new faces and poses!
- Ian got to use his poses and faces. Finally am I right.
- 2 new CG arts. One (Michael) using regular style of CGs, one (Ian) using function I coded.
- Few changes to the way files are archived.
- Figured out how to do point and click system. It's magic I swear.
- Secret hangout added but it's inaccessible as of now :^)
What's next?
- Adding Rina's hangout. 55% (Only backgrounds and checking the writing)
- Fixing Load/Save things. (I'm not really sure if I want to the "auto save" feature in Renpy. And for the sake of the game design it might be better to lessen save-slots.)
- Getting sketches done for background art for Michael's house75%, Rina's house5%, rest of Sean's shop85% and Player's house80% Number have changed because new day/night variants are needed..
- Adding few new poses for Michael.
- Adding "special sprites" for few scenes.
- Adding the "Evening Hangouts" that are currently disabled. 85%. One more.
- Adding at least one CG-pic for each Hangout event. 75%
- Fix sprites: Right now all the sprites are scaled down and then added to the game. Plans to revamp way sprites are added so that the scaling down happens at later point. This should help with quality of sprites and issue of having Sean being too tall for scenes.
But these are only what I'm thinking of focusing on next for this Demo. The actual game will need more.
But yeah, as usual. Thank you all. Hopefully I will get this demo in nice progress soon!
Then I can start teasing the actual routes of characters! :D
But before that happens, we might get some streams where I just endlessly work on sprites and background art.... If I can plan this thing right lol
