 Mitsuri spent her entire human life chasing one dream — to find a man who would truly love her. But one fateful night, as she was attacked by a demon, she realized that dream was slipping away forever…

Not before swearing to herself that she would take revenge — not just on the demon, but on the life she wasted searching for love. The demon, sensing the bitterness and resentment burning within her, offered her a choice: to become a demon herself.

Now reborn as one of them, Mitsuri discovered crimson lines running from her eyes down to her chin — a mark of every sleepless night spent crying in loneliness. But those scars didn’t just symbolize her pain as a human… they became a reminder of her hatred toward men and her vow to make them all suffer.

 Shinobu stood frozen as her sister Kanae was struck down before her eyes. In that moment, something inside her broke — not just from grief, but from the rage that came with helplessness. Unlike the real timeline, this time Shinobu fought back, refusing to let her sister die alone.

Moved by her unwavering resolve and the venomous hatred boiling within her, the demon that killed Kanae made her an offer — to become one of them. Not out of fear or desperation… but for vengeance.

Now as a demon, Shinobu bears luminous horns that glow in the dark, drawing swarms of venomous insects to her. She commands these creatures like an extension of herself, each bite laced with poison. They dance through the air like fireflies, until they strike — a deadly swarm guided by her will and sorrow.

She no longer smiles with warmth. Her vengeance is silent, beautiful… and lethal.
