One Time Jobs for Children and Teens

This mod adds 6 new one time jobs:

  • Dog Walker
  • Pet Sitter
  • Paper Route
  • Lemonade Stand
  • Yard Work
  • Lawn Mowing

Find interaction "Neighbourhood Jobs" available at computer.

The benefit of those one time jobs is that your Sim can at the same time be a member of any afterschool activity, and can earn additional money whenever wants. Besides, I didn't want to create a normal career for children because I don't think children should have regular jobs, even part-time jobs...

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it :)

I learnt how to do chance cards, so I added few and each job will have some "decisions" to be made and different outcomes :)

Also each activity will influence some skills, some character values, like responsibility or empathy, and some motives.

This mod will be needed for one of aspiration that I'll publish during weekend :D

AND ADDITIONALLY... I unlocked Odd Jobs from game for children ;) I left it as separate file (you'll see after unzipping), because it overrides 2 files. And odd jobs will appear only with Island Living (maybe also some custom odd jobs will work for base game, I didn't try it).

Conflicts: This mod doesn't override existing files so should not conflict with other Sims 4 mods.

OddJobsUnlockedForChildren.package  - overrides 2 files:

  • phone_BrowseWebsites_OddJob_Find
  • phone_BrowseWebsites_OddJob_Cancel

For the mod to work you need also XML injector (the current version).
