I failed to do this post yesterday, but one day late is still okay, right?
Right?
😅
What I recently did:
Bugfix Release 1.0.4 and SessionMaker Update
This update fixes several bugs & problems. If you run things on Linux be sure to get this. Read more on this in the official blog post. And yes, I tested it under Ubuntu. 😉
Updated iOS version of 0.9.5
On iOS users had to rely on the wireless file transfer. But since this makes all kinds of WLAN and networking assumptions there can be all kinds of problems. And the user has no information on how to fix them. This small update enables iOS File Sharing, giving the users the option to import sessions via the (specialized) FileBrowser.Â
What I hope to accomplish next (this week):
This week is completely filled with work for v1.1. I hope to release it to alpha supporters next week!
Making SessionMaker part of the main project
This is the biggest amount of work for 1.1 and also the one nobody will be able to notice. But it is also critical for a lot of future features. I will not only be able to develop new session features only once, it also opens up the possibility of previewing things exactly the way they'll be when the session gets run in MMM.
Change Pose (Lying, Sitting, in-between) in HubÂ
A often requested feature, allowing you to comfortably use MMM while in a recliner or while lying down.
Enable spiral switching
When I recreatewd the in-session menu I thought that switching the spirals was not a feature really used with real sessions. I thought it was only good to show-off the spirals in earlier tec-test sessions. But I was wrong about it and you all decided I should be bringing back this feature. It should be an easy task, so I'll definitely squeeze it into v1.1 with the other things.
Improved Session Info Screen with more infos
The screen/menu after selecting a session in the library is quite a mess. It certainly was functional enough for alpha versions. But it is time to improve it, give it a new & better design and provide the user with more information about the session.Â
And that's it for today. As always, I'm looking forward to your comments.
