So for the past 6 month's I've been using Daz studio to make animations, but it has a lot of limitations. For example, Daz has no soft body physics (breast jiggle and collision), the clothing and hair simulator is also really bad and slow. The animations it self are also difficult, as the rigs doesn't lock the character in place properly, so it makes the movement a lot more unatural and sometimes glitchy and wierd.
Yesterday I tried to look a bit in to Blender. It's a lot more powerfull tool, which provides me with soft body dynamics (soft boobies), better clothing animations, better morph tools and in general way way more options than Daz.
HOWEVER. It will take a lot of time (maybe months) and effort to learn Blender and will halt the production of animation for a while until I figure out how to use Blender properly. If I decide to move from Daz to Blender, I will still share my progress and animations. But they will go back to being test renders and test animations for a long time.
I want to know what you guys think. Want me to stick to Daz (with it limitations) or move over to Blender, but the productions of decent content will come to a halt for a while.
