Wild Cat Purr! (Anthro TG/TF ) [TheProcess]

Well how is it for my first anthro TF?

I've wanted to to do an anthro draw for sometime. But I simply couldn't produce one to the quality level that made me happy(Plus I was busy). That being said I decided to dosome quicker draws and not try to do something high quality on the drawing side.

On another note I thought I'd share each step of the process with ya peeps ^^. I made the files after I had finished the piece. Also it isn't perfect but here's hoping someone finds it neat/useful one day ^^.



1- I sketch up a general idea of what I want
2-  I clean up all my lines and add anything missing so I can color
3- I add all the flat colors
4- I add the actual colors to it's respective area.
5- On this step I start adding all the hard and soft shadows.
6- I added a background for the main character then a purple overlay on multiply and low opacity. To the Panel. Then erased what I didn't want from the drawing. Creating a darker vibe and making the lighter parts pop more.
7.On this step I add all the highlights, n lighting effects. Including the overpaints(Coloring over the lineart) as well.
8. On this step I do my color correction as a final touch. Needed or not I always check to make sure! I first run the final shot through the Hue &saturation tool. usually bumping up the saturation. Following that I use the curves tool to balance all the lighting and shadow. with a goal to create a higher contrast than without it .

I  hope this somewhat informative as I hope to get better at this moving into the future. But we shall see!
Also apologies for it kind of being backward ^^;. For viewership of the final piece while keeping everything in order I thought this was the best sequence toput it in.
