Dec 2024 Sticker Preview & Forecast

Whew. We're almost at the end of the year already?! How and when the hell did that happen?!

Apologies as well for this being slightly late (although in my defence, it's still technically the 1st where I am looool). Time seriously got away from me while I've been away, and even though I technically had all this prepared beforehand, I was waiting to get a better sense of what is going to happen in December... But alas. Things are just as clear as before, which is to say, not at all lol.

Anyhoo! Presenting the last stickers of 2024: Sweet Symphony! If you'd like to nab the sticker sheet and postcard, OR the individual sticker, please adjust to the appropriate tier by 15th December! I actually had the sketches done sometime last year for a couple of these, but then I got cold feet for doing all the instruments so I put it off for when I had more time. And then...well, that of course never happened lol. But hey, they're done! Maybe not necessarily with all the instruments I wanted to have, but then again, there could always be a part 2... 👀

And now for a lighter version of the regularly-scheduled ramblings, because I need to finish packing, much like the suitcase bun from last month's stickers.

The past few years, the year end season had been full of online activities, since we weren't able to do anything else. Also I had the big move last year so it was hectic in its own right... And even though a part of me wants to have a whole bunch of things planned, I'm mainly just wanting some quiet to tide me over until a hopefully better 2025. But that doesn't mean I'm ditching all the traditions!

  All three extended editions (really, the only version that really matters) on Discord! If you need some escape anytime in the day, feel free to come and go whenever you please! And of course, don't forget your second breakfasts.

  Last few months, I have been feeling absolutely drained, and somehow I just couldn't bring myself to do the Discord hangouts with you all, and I really am so sorry for that because it feels like I'm breaking a promise to you -- and I try really hard to keep my promises whenever possible. Since it's the last of the year, I want to take the opportunity to really show my appreciation to you all, and take a look back at the year and all the things that you all have helped me accomplish. And maybe you can all help me plan some new things in the new year too! More details to come!

There will most likely be a proper 2024 wrap-up post as well later this month. But for now I really need to get back to preparing for my flight home tomorrow.

I know things are hard for so many people everywhere. If this is the case for you, know that I see you and feel you. Please do take care of yourself first, before helping anybody else, and try not to feel guilty about it. 💖 Telling myself as well.

P.S. I didn't get any travel sketching done this time, but here's some practice sketches and swatching I did with some of the new supplies I got.
