October 2024 Forecast & Sticker Preview!

Dear friends. It really is well and truly autumn here...as I sit here shivering in several layers and still refusing to turn on the heating because I SHOULDN'T NEED IT YET (and also energy costs are supposed to go up...again...) and I'm a stubborn idjit. :D BUT AH WELL.

The keen-eyed (?) will have noticed that I changed the sticker preview for this month. Honestly I wasn't even intending to make this, but my neurospicy brain decided that it wanted to procrastinate all the other things that I need to get done today to do this instead. Fun times, eh.

With that said, here are this month's sticker goodies: Autumn Auspices! If you'd like to get either the individual sticker OR the sticker sheet along with an art postcard, please sign up or adjust your tier to the appropriate one by 15th October!

I've started trying to do more co-working streams on Twitch, and working on these stickers has been a part of that. For whatever reason, I wanted to make the rewards and things a BIG DEAL BIG REVEAL for y'all, which in retrospect is pretty ridiculous! In order to be more transparent and open with y'all, I am going to try to show a lot more of what is coming. After all, it's only because of your support that I have the time to do this, and I want to show just how hard I work to show my appreciation to you all. 💖

🌩️ And now for the weather--err, forecast.

I know I've had to cancel the monthly Discord hangouts for...well, a couple of months now, and I'm really really sorry to say that it's not likely that I'll be able to schedule one for this month. I still fully intend to continue with the mockshops during those, and the sketchbook tours, but some personal things have come up that means my schedule for the next while may be a bit volatile. Don't worry, I'm not having to move again--I think. I hope lol. Nothing is concrete right now, but I don't want to disappoint everybody by setting a date and then cancelling last minute again. So my biggest apologies once again. But please know I do still plan to continue, and may even try to plan something big for the end of the year.

It's not all bad though! I'm extremely chuffed to be a Featured Streamer for this year's StreamINK! A different amazing streamer is featured every day of October, and they've gotten to pick a word as their prompt for the month's list, so it's a truly collaborative and community-oriented event.

I highly recommend that you check out all the amazing artists as well, and encourage you to participate if you'd like! You do NOT have to complete every single prompt!! And if you aren't able to do anything from scratch, a whole bunch of colouring pages will also be provided for you to download and print! So NO PRESSURE AT ALL. And yes, I'm telling myself this as well lol because I don't want to repeat the stress of Inktober 2017. 😅 (Although that was the one year I actually did the entire month...but there were other things going on in my life that I was probably ignoring LOLOL.)

 My feature day is 25th October, and my prompt word is Inspire because I hope that by sharing my art journey with the world, I can inspire at least one person out there to create. Time is still TBD but I'll of course keep you updated when it gets settled!

Once again, I appreciate and thank every one of you. Admittedly, the past few weeks have been hard. Like, fucking hard. And I don't know if it will get any better soon. But know that I'm still going, one step at a time, one minute at a time. And I'm so glad you are there with me. 💖
