I have appreciated the critical feedback I have gotten for my last short story so damn much. You all don't even understand. It seems the general consensus is not as good as the first, but not the worst thing ever written.
For my first attempt writing action, I'LL TAKE IT! :)
I have been combing over a lot of the thing sent back to me in terms of notes, and will reach out to more soon who offered their own detailed breakdowns.
My next short story will be focusing on emotion and characterization. I want to introduce you all to a couple characters who are in the main story I am working on.
Of course, this means I am more nervous than ever to write this next entry. Everything I have done up until now is taking place within the main book's world, but now the characters will be revealed to you all, and I HAVE to capture them right.
Do you know what that means? Beta Readers!
I posted about beta readers a while ago, and a lot of you were interested. Obviously, I cannot choose everyone. The saying 'too many cooks' exists for a reason.
I will look over everyone who offered to help, the qualifications they mention, etc, etc. and get in touch within the next couple of weeks.
Again, you all have been so patient and amazing. I appreciate it immensely. Now that I am full time on this, the next short story should be out much faster than Snow Drift.
All the best,
Daniel
