Part 1 | Part 2
The dead body was still warm, a perfect test subject for Arnold’s experiments. He didn’t know this woman’s name, but her life was clearly cut far too short. He began with a small incision in her skull, implanted a small chip, then hooked up the interface. His theory was simple enough; if he could jumpstart this woman’s brain, it would jumpstart the rest of her body.
With a flip of a switch, the woman opened her eyes with a glazed over expression. Her body moved into a comfortable seated position. “Downloading file #89214-B,” She said with a monotone expression.
She blinked, and then stared at Arnold, “Who the fuck are you?”
“I’m Arnold Guinness, and I just saved your life.” Arnold replied back confidently.
“No, I’m Arnold Guinness and the last thing I remember was saving a backup of my memories. Why the fuck did you steal my face?”
Arnold certainly remembered backing up his memories on a hard drive months ago as part of his research. But there was no ways those memories should have been loaded into this woman’s head. Arnold reached over to reset his experiment.
“Don’t do that!” Shouted the woman as she stumbled out of her chair and ripped the wires from her head, “Jesus! You could’ve killed me!”
