I sat on the bed wearing my wife’s pajamas as she paced uncomfortably on the side.

“Maybe we’ll wake up tomorrow and everything will be back to normal,” I suggested.

“I can’t believe that woman was a witch and that she did this to us! I even apologized! Yet we’re still stuck as the opposite genders because of her weird magic!” Emma responded.

“Maybe you shouldn’t have been so rude in the first place...”

“Are you taking HER side now?”

“No!” I said quickly, “But I am saying it’ll be okay no matter what gender we are. And looking through photos and emails, it looks like we’re still both who we basically were -- just a different gender. And other than the fact that we have to wear each other’s clothes, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be that bad.”

“Well,” My wife scoffed, “You’ve been a woman for 8 hours, just wait until you find out what a LIFETIME of being one is like. I doubt you’ll be so quick to be dismissive...”
