A race of anthropomorphic water lizards. They have six gills, three on each side of their heads, often tied up in a way that resemble hair. They also have a tail and skin in shades of pink, purple or blue. Their most impressive feature is regeneration, allowing them to regrow limbs, eyes and even internal organs, reason why they are called "Immortals". Their personality is usually reserved, only opening up to those they really trust. They are also known for avoiding positions of power, but their sense of justice is very strong and they are always willing to follow a good leader. However, they would also be the first to point a dagger to the throat of a bad leader.
A couple of centuries ago, their clan was very close to extinction, but their skills got acknowledged by the Tide Clan and they were allowed to recover in size. Now, all Immortals serve the royal family of Alcesta, their homeland, to whom they pledged "to always protect the tide from shallow and murky waters". Because of their unwavering loyalty, all workers of the royal palace of Alcesta are members of the Immortal Clan, from maids to royal guards.
