I should been posting this yesterday, but I'm having some family issues: there's an inundation in the city that my family leaves (the one I grew up) and yesterday the water just entered my grandma house and uncles. My grandma have a little (little) farm, and they had to stick their animals in the trees and they didn't wanted to leave the houses. But the river just took all the city so they are without light and water. Yesterday we had communication with them, they sent us videos from the bridge (today we knew the bridge just gone), and they tried to go to the train there (where probably the police will take care of the population). But today, we had no news since some hours ago, the city is devastated...
BUT fortunately, a person just sent us a message saying they are okay, but we properly don't know exactly, and how many animals died, or if they lose their houses... The fact is, it's a small city, all my family (gramma, uncles, cousins... leave there, some of their houses are truly underthe water...), and we can't do anything! The river started to back to normal today, so police are checking the downs... But, seems the rain will start again this week, let's hope at least they can do something to help more them.
I don't like to bring bad news, or this kind of stuff for you.
But I just cried a lot already. 2 weeks ago my uncle lost part of his farm because of the hail... They are hard workers guys, my grandma work everyday... Even I lend some $ to help the farm and bring some new stuff for the aviary, and now they lost again everything.
Thanks God someone said they are alive. But seems we can't have control of these things. And plus: they leave far away from the actual small city. Can you imagine the families that live INSIDE the city? So, so sad.
But I know they will be fine soon!
I have a convention this weekend, and if the river slow down, my mother will travel there to check and I'll update you!
